I usually travel a lot and hence any makeup product that has
multiple usages is most welcome to be a part of my vanity bag. This pigment
from Illamasqua promises you exactly that. I've used this pigment from
Illamasqua in various ways till now and I really liked the way how versatile
this has been in all my attempts. I’ve used this as a blush, as eyeshadow,
even mixed with my clear nail polish to customize its shade on my nails
according to my preference. Check out more details about this below:
If used on cheeks, the shimmers might not work for visible pores. I tried hard to think of any other dislike but couldn't find any, so nothing from my side so far.
About Illamasqua's
pigment
Made to be played with. A metallic, high-shine, pure-colour
powder that highlights eyes, cheeks and brows. Mix with eye shadow, blusher or
use it on its own to intense effect. Bring out your bold side.
Price:£15.50
Quantity: 10g
Tips:
Pure Pigment can be applied dry or even wet for a bolder
colour pay-off. To intensify the colour, apply over a cream texture, as this
will hold the colour in place and amplify it. Alternatively mix with Sealing
Gel and apply using a fine brush and use as a shimmery liquid eye liner. When
applied with a long bristle brush, Pure Pigment can also be used as a
highlighter anywhere on the eyes, face and body.

My experience with
this pigment:
The pigment comes in Illamasqua's signature diamond shaped
box. It is a loose powder pigment and the design of the box makes it an easy
task to use the pigment effectively without wasting the product much. The
pigment is ultra-soft and amazingly pigmented. It is a coral shade with
slightly brick red undertones to it and shimmers and a satin finish
to it. It is true to its name and how Illamasqua describes it i.e. "Auburn
shimmers" On my eyes it gives a nice flush that looks gorgeous as a whole
lid color. On lightly using it on my cheeks, I get a fine-shimmery touch with a bit of
coral-brick color hint to them, which looks amazing. With my clear nail polish, it
gives subtle shimmery reddish peach color to my nails too. I like the way how
versatile this product is and gives so much of scope to make your customized
shades according to your preferences. Let us quickly glance at the likes and
dislikes that I've felt about this loose pigment:
Likes:
1) Lovely coral-red shade with fine shimmers that looks
gorgeous on application.
2) The pigment is extremely soft and highly pigmented; hence
very less amount can work well.
3) It is a multi-purpose pigment that can be used as
eyeshadow, blush, eye liner and as nail polish too.
4) I like the staying power of the pigment. On my lids it
stays for 5-6 hours on an eyeshadow primer. On my cheeks it stays for at least
3-4 hours.
5) I've never felt any kind of irritation using this pigment
anywhere.
Dislikes:
If used on cheeks, the shimmers might not work for visible pores. I tried hard to think of any other dislike but couldn't find any, so nothing from my side so far.

Overall verdict:
This shade is a truly flattering shade for all the skin
tones. I believe it would work amazingly for all seasons as well. If you are
finding for one good product that could suffice all your makeup needs while you
are travelling a lot, this should definitely find its place in your bag.
