Fresh and Dewy Bold Neon Look with Maybelline New York Products Hi friends, Today, I'd like to share with you a fresh neon makeup look that I've come up with, in collaboration with Maybelline New York India , on the launch of their Bold Matte lipsticks .  It is the newest range of lip color and is available in 5 vibrant shades, with a brilliant matte texture. L'Oreal Paris Color Accord Intense Riche Lipstick - Fever Brown #291 Price: INR 785 for 4.7 grams My experience with this lipstick If you are looking for a dark and rich colored drama lipstick, then this can be the perfect choice for you. The lipstick has a brownish plum shade and is loaded with micro-fine golden shimmers. In some way, it reminds me a lot of the Avon Ultra Moisture Gold Rich Lipstick - Golden Wine that I reviewed HERE a while back; just that this one is a bit brownish and more plum than the Avon one. The lipstick has a smooth texture and glides on well on my lips. The shade is super opaque and gives a nice rich color on one swipe. You can see visible golden shimmers right away. This lipstick smells of roses and gives a fresh feeling every time I apply it. The texture is super smooth and glides easily on my lips. My lips are slightly pigmented around the corners, and because of that sometimes such pink-coral lipsticks don't work well for me. Hiya friends, I hope you are enjoying the awesome appearances of the celebrities at Cannes Film Festival 2013. I am particularly in love with so many of them, that I am still working on listing down my top favorites  L'Oreal has done really amazing work in making the celebs (especially Sonam Kapoor and Aishwarya Rai Bacchan!)  dazzle and sparkle on the red carpet. I simply could not get my eyes off Sonam, when she appeared in the gorgeous floral Dolce and Gabbana gown. She looked breathtakingly beautiful, fresh and like some Disney Princess. Ultime Pro Longwear Matte lipsticks are new launches by Faces cosmetics. They are launched in some 10 shades and I have tried this particular shade of lipstick  - Flirty Pink from the range 2-3 times. Because of these shimmers, the application also doesn't feel super smooth. It feels slightly gritty on the lips. However, once the lipstick is on, you don't feel much. Hi friends, It’s been a long time since I posted my last review here. There are tonnes of them kept in draft and I just couldn't find time to do some justice with the photographs because of one thing or other. Today, I am glad that I could make this review go live here at least, and I hope to continue with the trend now :). I am usually more of a lipstick person than lipgloss, and most of the lipsticks that I own have slightly glossy finish which I prefer. My lips tend to get dry very soon so I generally stay away from matte lipsticks, even though I love the whole matte finish on my lips. I hope you are enjoying the end of rains and onset of our Indian festivals with gusto. I always love this time in India, when we have a grand start with Ganesh Charuthi , followed by a small pause of 15 days and then full throttle start of our very popular festivals - Navratri, Dussehra and then Diwali followed by Bhai Dooj . It is fun to see and feel all the positive energy around, even if you are not that religious or actively participating in any of these celebrations.
