Outfit of the day - When in Doubt, Wear Red

Monday blues can be serious thing, especially when the weather suddenly becomes cruel, cold and sort of depressing. I was feeling a bit under the weather today and that only made me to rise up and fight the blues. Ok! I might be exaggerating a bit, but I always felt that high heels and red lipstick do help a lot in feeling better. And, that's what I did. 😁. Check out the pics below: This has become my signature pose these days... 😎😊 Trying to stand tall... 😇😇 Outfit: Top: Cherry Dress Jeans: Lee Shoes: Bourne London

Pahadi Outfit of the day | Grey Woollen Kurta and Jingle Bells

After spending almost half of my life in Himachal Pradesh , I do agree to the quote that "You can take a pahaadi out of the pahaad, but can't take the pahaad out of a pahaadi". I am not a native of Himachal Pradesh, but I do have certain level of affinity to lots of things that have become a part of my habit. And that includes a part of my attire as well. I can never get tired of Himachali woollen suits, kurtas, ponchos and mufflers.  Today was a bit colder than usual and I decided to wear this gorgeous grey woollen kurta and my usual muffler style. I took my black muffler and tied it around my head, covering my ears before stepping out. I have always wore it this way, no matter where I lived. The muffler was hand-knitted by my mom in 2008 and she gave it to me as a farewell gift when I was leaving to work in New York. It has been my favorite since then. Check out the video, pics and makeup details below. Outfit : Grey Woollen Kur...

Outfit Post | OOTD | Nothing Comes Between Me And My Purple

“I think it pisses God off if you walk by the color purple in a field somewhere and don't notice it.” And it would piss me off too..Yeah..so purple is my favourite color and I have no regrets causing a faux pas and go with complete purple outfit and shoes. The good thing was that I didn't go for purple lipstick, but instead used a dab of red lipstick. So, here is my outfit of the day. Check out the video and the piccys below. Bag from Sammydress + Pop of a Color OOTD

Hi friends, Its been ages since I posted my OOTD on my blog. I guess the last OOTD was around 2 years back. The reason of my absence was of course the fact that I got pregnant and after my delivery, I had put on a lot of weight. Thankfully, now I am almost back to what I used to look like before, though still need to work out a lot. I try to fit my workout schedule in between my regular chores and motherhood duties. Anyways, today I'd like to show a gorgeous bag that I got from Sammydress.com. I got this bag just 2 days back from the website, and absolutely adored it. The quality and beauty this bag offers definitely makes it into my list of current favourites. Hey everyone, I hope you are doing good and enjoying your weekend. I wore this bluish purple anarkali dress yesterday for a party. I bought this online and paired it up with peach colored churidaar and peach net dupatta with gota work on it. Today, I want to share with you yet another lovely handbag that I bought from the OASAP.com. I'd been planning to get a tan or khakhi colored bag since a very long time. While browsing through the amazing collections at the website, the moment I saw this I had my heart on it and had to order it. It’s a lovely Diamond checked padded finish shoulder bag that comes with a chain trim to flap.  The bag is available in four different colors at the website - black, brown, khakhi and orange, so you can choose the color that you prefer. I got the bag in khakhi color. The bag has a zip back pocket and is spacious enough to carry all my essentials in a go. I love the metallic chain sling...

Outfit of the Day - Pink Net Saree (Desi Avatar)

Hello friends, I had to go for a party yesterday and for the second time in my life I chose to wear a saree. It was quite a work for me to get it done right. And after 3 attempts, I finally managed to drape it well. It was my first time in net saree, and now I can understand the whole craze over it. It feels so utterly light and easy to carry, especially in hot and humid climate like this. I took these photographs after coming back from the party, without doing any touch ups and I still feel I look quite fresh! :P I hope you like the pics, even though they were taken at night time under normal tubelight and camera's flash, so request you to ignore the poor quality:) What I wore: Pink net saree bought from fashionandyou.com Brown Flat Jootis (not in the pic) Earrings, bangles and bracelet Makeup: Face : Manhattan foundation, P2 compact powder, MAC blush - Vintage grape Eyes : Essence eyeshadow primer, Illamasqua cream pigment - Depravity, deep brown eyeshadow fro...
