Skin Care that Worked and Didn't Work on My Skin's Winter Breakout

Skin Care that Worked and Didn't Work on Winter Breakout Hi friends, First of all I’d like to wish you all a Very Happy and Amazing New Year . May this year brings loads of happiness, success and joy in your lives. I have been missing in action since a while, all thanks to my busy and hectic days. This post has been pending since 2 weeks and today I somehow got time and privilege to complete it and publish it on my blog, so here it goes. I have always enjoyed nice pimple-free skin, despite the fact that my skin is oily-combination. I never had any major acne problem, and my skin has always been pretty ok. However, I came to Bhuj Gujarat in October 2013 for getting my surgery -  Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy done, and I don’t know if it was because of the surgery, or change of weather; my skin faced its worst in the months of November and mid-December. I faced “crackling-dryness” and weird breakouts on my skin. I saw patchiness and white spots of dryness around my nose...

How I take care of my eyes - My everyday eye care routine

Beautiful Eyes Hello lovelies, Today, I thought of sharing my eye care regime with you here. With the way these tech-gadgets have encroached around 80-90% of our wake up time, I feel that it becomes even more important for us to pay extra attention in taking care of our eyes. Being a software engineer, I spend around 10-12 hours almost daily on computer and by the end of the day my eyes look like two sunken hollows. Ok! I am exaggerating, but literally at night before going to sleep when I look at my eyes, I could see such a drastic difference between the morning eyes and the two dull and lifeless buttons like stuffs in the mirror, that I simply had to do something for the little babies. Even though I keep on reading stuffs like putting potatoes and cucumber slices on eyes to treat them well; I simply couldn't find enough time and efforts to include all that in my daily regime. So, I had to device my own personal care schedule that could cater to my needs and take c...

Review: Himalaya Herbals FootCare Cream

About Himalaya Herbals Foot Cream My experience with this foot cream I have always had dry feet, but thankfully my heels never got cracks. However, on my hunt to get a cream for my feet and to combat the dryness I came across this cream and I've been using this since around a year now. I got two packs of this cream at Dubai transit shopping and I quite like the way this cream has worked so far. It has a nice incense stick fragrance which isn't too overwhelming. The cream is thick, and blends well into the hard skin of my feet leaving them soft. Check out some pics below: And below are some of the likes and dislikes that I've felt about this foot cream: Likes: I like the handy tube packaging of the product with a flip open cap that makes it easy to use and travel friendly. The cream is quite thick and comes with a nice soothing fragrance. The cream blends well into the skin and gets absorbed quickly without leaving any ...

Review: Himalaya Herbals Natural Moisturizing Lip Butter

I usually suffer from dry and cracked lips if I am not always super careful to treat them well. As is the case with lip balms, a few worked well for me while some others failed badly. I usually don't want to take chances with my lip balms and usually stick with the ones that have worked well for me. But, when I came across this particular lip balm from Himalaya Herbals with cocoa butter and Sal butter as its ingredients, I was more than tempted to give it a try. I've been using this since past one week now and hence reviewing it her. Check out the details below: About Himalaya Herbals Natural Moisturizing Lip butter Price: INR 125 Quantity: 10 grams My experience with this lip butter: The lip butter comes in this cute jar packaging and is quite creamy in consistency. The butter is a translucent gel and has a sweet smell of cocoa butter. It glides on well on the lips and is transparent on application. Even though it has sweet cocoa butter smell, it doesn...

The result is soft, supple and radiant skin. Price: INR 65/- Ingredients and Directions: Quantity: 50 grams My experience with Himalaya Herbals Apricot Face scrub: Like all Himalaya products, this scrub also comes with an ethereal fragrance which I love a lot, though it might be too strong for sensitive noses.
