Wear and Walk - Illamasqua’s cream pigment in DAB

I’d love to wear it as a base over eyelids and top it with Motives eyeshadow Studio 54 over it. Add a hint of Motives eyeshadow Heiress on the outer V and inner corners. Creasing can be taken care of by a good eyeshadow primer (I still have to buy MAC’s paintpot). On face   - A subtle pink blush (Recommendation – MAC Blush Ombre) On lips – A pink lip gloss ( Recommendation – Ambika Pillai’s cotton candy lite lipgloss ) How would you like to wear Illamasqua’s cream pigment in DAB ?

Review: Ambika Pillai Liquid Black Eye liner, Swatches, EOTD

When I ordered this particular eyeliner along with Ambika Pillai Lite Lipgloss in Cotton candy from Fashion & You, I was expecting both the products to sport same kind of hi-tech light, switch and mirror. Where the lipgloss made me more than happy with its gadgety look; this eye liner looked pretty boring in front of the lipgloss. Anyways, it has worked decently for me all along till now, so no complains on the performance. I like this eye liner a lot, especially for summers and rainy season and below goes the review: Price: I bought it for INR 222/- from Fashion & You My experience with this particular eye liner: Despite sporting an unamusing look as compared to the lite lipgloss, I overall liked the packaging of this eye liner. It comes in a sleek case with screw open lid that has eye liner brush. The brush is neither too thin nor too thick; just perfect enough to control the thickness of the liner according to your choice. Also, the wand is quite long and hence helps a l...

Review: Ambika Pillai Lite Lipgloss in shade Cotton Candy

I ordered this particular lipgloss while shopping some stuffs on Fashion and You website a couple of months back. Below is how the gloss looks like: Quantity: 8ml Price: Around 450/- on sale from Fashion and You Ingredients : My experience with Ambika Pillai's Cotton Candy Lipgloss: Frankly speaking, my sole reason of checking this out was the fact that the Ambika Pillai's lite lipglosses come with lights attached on the caps and a mirror on one side of the bottle. I was quite intrigued about the whole concept and packaging, so thought of trying this out. Now, since I've started using it, I figured out that I didn't have even a single dark colored lipgloss, and this shade was dark and so much fun to wear that it was like an icing on the cake for me.  So, here is the lipgloss, swatches and how it looks on me: Light switch Below are some pros and cons of this lipgloss: 1) I absolutely love the packaging; in fac...

March Shopping - Hair Styling Products and Makeup from Faces,Maybelline, Ambika Pillai

I did a couple of makeup shopping in March, primarily to prepare for my big day. However, I hardly used much of this shopping for my get up. But, I still felt like sharing it all with you here. Products I bought this month: 1) Philips hair straightner 2) Giovanni hair styling lotion 3) Eva lip balm in strawberry 4) Maybelline Dream Mousse blush in soft plum 5) Maybelline Eyestudio pencil in White 6) Maybelline Primer with SPF 35+ 7) Ambika Pillai Black Eye Liner 8) Ambika Pillai Lite Lipgloss in Cotton Candy. I didn't want to buy anything from Maybelline, because they test on animals. However, with the limited choices we have in market on the price and quality, I had to buy certain essentials from them. I so wish ELF and NYX brands to be more prominent in Indian market now. I also ordered some FACES cosmetics from Fashion and You website. However, they messed up my order and instead of sending Mauve Blush, sent me a eyeshadow. I was quite pissed off with the goof up b...
