Outfit of the day - When in Doubt, Wear Red

Monday blues can be serious thing, especially when the weather suddenly becomes cruel, cold and sort of depressing. I was feeling a bit under the weather today and that only made me to rise up and fight the blues. Ok! I might be exaggerating a bit, but I always felt that high heels and red lipstick do help a lot in feeling better. And, that's what I did. 😁. Check out the pics below: This has become my signature pose these days... 😎😊 Trying to stand tall... 😇😇 Outfit: Top: Cherry Dress Jeans: Lee Shoes: Bourne London

Pahadi Outfit of the day | Grey Woollen Kurta and Jingle Bells

After spending almost half of my life in Himachal Pradesh , I do agree to the quote that "You can take a pahaadi out of the pahaad, but can't take the pahaad out of a pahaadi". I am not a native of Himachal Pradesh, but I do have certain level of affinity to lots of things that have become a part of my habit. And that includes a part of my attire as well. I can never get tired of Himachali woollen suits, kurtas, ponchos and mufflers.  Today was a bit colder than usual and I decided to wear this gorgeous grey woollen kurta and my usual muffler style. I took my black muffler and tied it around my head, covering my ears before stepping out. I have always wore it this way, no matter where I lived. The muffler was hand-knitted by my mom in 2008 and she gave it to me as a farewell gift when I was leaving to work in New York. It has been my favorite since then. Check out the video, pics and makeup details below. Outfit : Grey Woollen Kur...

Outfit Post | OOTD | Nothing Comes Between Me And My Purple

“I think it pisses God off if you walk by the color purple in a field somewhere and don't notice it.” And it would piss me off too..Yeah..so purple is my favourite color and I have no regrets causing a faux pas and go with complete purple outfit and shoes. The good thing was that I didn't go for purple lipstick, but instead used a dab of red lipstick. So, here is my outfit of the day. Check out the video and the piccys below. Black Net Saree: Zarine Khan Ethnic Collection

Black Net Saree: Zarine Khan Ethnic Collection Hello friends, Wedding season and monsoons just don't go too well together. While I can't help but feel amazingly excited for all the weddings and functions I'd be attending (have already been to a couple of them!), the constant downpour does dampen up the spirits to some extent. I need to be extra special in taking care of my high heels and gorgeous ethnic dresses to keep them away from the rain and accompanied problems. Anyhoo, on brighter note, I am sharing another ethnic outfit with you guys today. I got this black net saree from Zarine Khan's collection , a while back. It is one of my absolute favourites. I love the simplicity and royal look of this saree , and the fact it is extremely light weight and easy to carry; making it perfect wear for monsoons. The whole black and red combination works wonderfully in making it an apt party wear for weddings as well as evening parties. The net fabric makes this ne...

Green Net and Velvet Saree: Indian Ethnic Outfit

Green Net Saree: Ethnic outfit Hi friends, Its been a long time since I posted anything on my blog. I wasn't keeping well earlier, and then my son got viral fever. Its been really crazy for a while and today, finally I got some rest and peace of mind to write on my blog. It feels liberating, spending sometime here, expressing my thoughts and let a bit of my creativity do its work. And I can't thank you guys enough for being a part of this blog. Its always wonderful to see your amazing comments and feedback.Today, I thought of posting an ethnic outifit of the day. Its wedding season full on, and I will be going to attend one of my cousins' wedding next week. So, the timing is apt to do an ethnic outfit post of the day. It is just a regular saree, but I wore it in lehenga saree style. There is an excellent video by Utsavsarees on youtube, that showcases a Do-it-yourself way of wearing saree lehenga style.

Bag from Sammydress + Pop of a Color OOTD

Hi friends, Its been ages since I posted my OOTD on my blog. I guess the last OOTD was around 2 years back. The reason of my absence was of course the fact that I got pregnant and after my delivery, I had put on a lot of weight. Thankfully, now I am almost back to what I used to look like before, though still need to work out a lot. I try to fit my workout schedule in between my regular chores and motherhood duties. Anyways, today I'd like to show a gorgeous bag that I got from Sammydress.com. I got this bag just 2 days back from the website, and absolutely adored it. The quality and beauty this bag offers definitely makes it into my list of current favourites.
