Available Shade: Rosy and Peach
While starting with my Oriflame consulting, I ordered plenty of stuffs for myself. I have to say that I have some mixed feelings for the products I ordered. I liked almost 90% of the products I used, and
10% were a complete "No-No" to me. One of the products within the range of that 10% is Oriflame Vision V * Instant Cheeky Stick Blusher. I ordered the peach colored one. Below is my experience with this particular blush stick:

The Good: :)
- The pink packaging looks quite cute and nice to me.
- It is really easy and handy to apply the blush, with that retractable stick.
- The texture of the blush is quite smooth and hence easy to blend.
- The blush has a bit of shimmer to it.
The Bad: /:)
- The blush stick does not give any color to my cheeks, whatsoever! No matter, how much I apply, it may start showing a very subtle and almost non-visible sheen to my face after some thirty swipes, but, that is it. Even though it shows a bit of color on swatching it, the color doesn't come properly on face. Very bad pigmentation and color pay-off is absolutely nil. I can say this fact for my skin, as I am fair colored and colors usually don’t face much trouble showing on my face. :P
Will I purchase it again?
Absolutely not! I like the concept of blush sticks and I might choose to go for some other brands.
Do you use cream blushes? Share your favorite cream blushes with me in your comments?
i hd read ur comment before dat u dint like it...thank u..u saved me frm getting dis !!
ReplyDeleteYeah bhumika!! .. :-? Good you didn't get it. I guess there is some problem with these visions cosmetics..The only things about them, I've liked so far are their eye pencils and nail polishes!...Have you used the visions eyeshadows? :-/..I mean, any idea how are they?
ReplyDeletehey nice blog. the blush looks real cute. but I always stay away from cream blushes as I have super oily skin :)
ReplyDeletehmm you know, few years back.....such kind of stick blushes were in my mom's makeup collection....that time i think we called it "roose/rose" something like that.........it was a nice pink color stick..i remember i was in 7th grade..that time my skin was normal ( now is oily) n it looked fantaboulous on me....but it was a local brand blush so i couldnt find it agn.......
ReplyDeletehmm do u knw ne other brand with stick blushes??? n are stick blushes less "creamier" than the usual tub/pot ones..like NYX ones???
hey indianmakeupways !! Thanks dear!! :)...I've recently started with cream blushes..I too have combination/oily skin, but so far haven't got any problem with these blushes. It may be coz of Bangalore's weather too!! :-)
ReplyDeleteHi Ffree Bbees! I have used both stick and tub blushes, and I felt the consistency to be almost same for both. Just that the stick blushes are much easier to apply!! :-) I have used Maxfactor cream blush, which I really liked..but now I've discontinued using it as they test on animals and I am completely against it. :-(
ReplyDeleteI even have YSL blush stick in peach, which is really creamy and stays for quite long!! :-) Hope this info helps!!
ohhh.hi Cali! thanks for the info!!! i was really scared to try on cream blushes.but now i will...
ReplyDeletejust a Q
wen you apply cream blushes, do you appy anything else along with it- that will control oil.......??
you know cos if its cream its likely to make my skin oily after few hours or depending on the mumbai heat!!!

also can you tell me some affordable but good cream blushes ( under 1000) to start with?
I think you can try maxfactor or NYX cream blush! They are quite pigmented and affordable too!! :)
