My first experience with Soulflower soaps (Baby Your skin soap) that I shared with
you HERE, got my interest back in using soaps. After having a pleasant
experience with the baby-your-skin soap, I planned to indulge more into these
soaps and I got myself a set of three soaps. Out of these I've already reviewed
this Pep-Me-Mint Soap HERE. Today I'd be reviewing the most colorful of the lot - this
lovely looking Rosemary Morning soap here. So, check it out below:
About this soap:
Price: INR 250/-
Weight: 150 grams
My experience with
this soap:
The first thing that attracted me towards this soap was its
lovely pink and blue color. Such happy colors just add so much of zing and
happiness to otherwise boring morning showers, while I drag my feet to the
bathroom, dreading yet another day at office. I love using this soap merely for
its color. It is a thick soap and lathers well to give that squeaky cleansed
feeling. It is easy to rinse off and quite an easy-peasy thing to take shower
with.
However, I didn't like the smell of this soap at all. It smells a bit of Tide detergent cake, which is very-very subtle yet noticeable. There is no "nice and relaxing" fragrance from this, and I felt a bit disappointed there. On my skin, it works just fine. It doesn't make my body skin dry. I've used it to wash my face too a couple of times and it has done its job there decently too, without causing too much of dryness.

Below is a quick list
of likes and dislikes that I've felt about this soap:
Likes:
1) Lovely bright color that can instantly brighten up your
day.
2) Lathers well and is quite easy to rinse off.
3) Takes good care of the skin, without causing any dryness
even in this cool weather of Bangalore.
4) Comes with mostly natural and organic ingredients, hence
definitely better for the skin.
5) Price is ok for the amount you get.
Dislikes:
1) No fragrance at all, moreover the subtle smell of
detergent cake is a bit of turn off.
Overall verdict:
If you love to use nice and peppy looking products and are
suffering from nose block this winter, then you should definitely try this
soap. It works well in all other departments except for the smell. It lathers
well, rinses off easily, cleanses well, moisturizes too and is really nice to
see and use.
