All that glitters is not gold and when it comes to lipglosses, I definitely have the same thought. This particular lipgloss from Faces Canada is a part of their Glam on silk range and though it looks gorgeous and lovely in the tube, I've kind of love-hate relationship with it on my lips. My experience with this lip gloss
When I saw this lipgloss in its tube, all I could admire was how beautiful it looked. The starry white liquid with color reflecting particles and glitters. It was a treat to the eyes. However, I could sense how it'd look on my lips and that was definitely not my idea of a cool and casual friday office markeup. When I applied it on my lips, I saw what was expected. The transparent gloss and its small cute glitters spread across my lips to reflect light and different colors like a disco ball. In case you want to play the vampire Alice in your college or school skit, you can consider applying this lipgloss all over your face, neck and other exposed areas. You'll perfectly glitter your way into the character.
The gloss comes with a nice tube packaging and a sponge tip applicator for even application. Also, it smells heavily of caramel chocolate, even though it is tasteless. It is moisturizing to my lips too, which I quite like. The staying power is ok, not very great though the gloss feels a bit sticky on my lips. It stays on for around 1 hour, after which a bit of scattered glitter is all I can see on my lips. Also, since this is a transparent lipgloss, it might not suit pigmented lips much.
Honestly, I am not a huge fan of such glittery and shining glosses on my lips so it is still a pass for me. This lipgloss can be perfect to shine and dazzle your way to a nice DJ night, if you want your lips to glow and reflect light. Also, even though I loved the caramelly fragrance, I think it might not suit the sensitive noses very much. Overall, an ok lipgloss meant for special occasions, that too if you are comfortable making your lips sparkle with rainbow colors.
