Review: Lotus Herbals AloeSoft Daily Body Lotion with SPF 20

Body lotions are must for me, no matter what season comes. I have dry skin on my body which becomes super dry in winters. However, since these days winters in India, (even in north) begin to start fading by the end of January, I thought of getting myself some lighter, cooler and refreshing body lotion. While browsing through online websites, I came across this particular one and instantly ordered it. I've been using this lotion since past few weeks now and have pretty much liked it so far. Check out more details below:

Price and Quantity: INR 255 for 300 ml

Suitable for: All skin types

The bottle came in a secured packaging and I was quite happy about the push-nozzle thing. It makes the task of taking out a body lotion 100 times easier. The lotion was called AloeSoft and as expected it smells heavenly of aloe vera and cucumber. The good thing is that it has SPF 20 too which I didn't notice at the time of order. The lotion comes out in a thick white liquid and I was initially scared that it might turn out to be the heavy one. However, it is completely non-greasy and refreshing lotion by its claims.   It gets absorbed into my skin in a jiffy and provides subtle cooling sensation too which I like a lot.

Coming to the moisturizing part, I find it a bit on the lighter side. I won't blame the lotion for my ultra-moisture-thirsty skin, but still the nourishment it gives isn't something I am very fond of. It does keep my skin hydrated for 2-3 hours, but after that I still have to apply it again. Another not so cool thing about this cooling lotion is that it contains parabens.

Overall, I'd say it is a decent body lotion for spring and even summer season. It smells gorgeously of cucumber and aloe, which I love to the core. It is non greasy, gets absorbed in a jiffy, gives nice cooling and refreshing feeling, and I feel the quantity is quite a lot for the price too.

Rating: 3.5/5 (B+)

Neutrogena Moistureshine Gloss - Review, Swatches

Neutrogena Moistureshine Gloss - Review I began to use Neutrogena brand long back, when I was in US. The first product I bought of this brand was a liquid foundation, which was my first foundation of all. And, as expected I chose the wrong shade and had to throw it away. The second thing I bought sometime back was this Neutrogena Moistureshine LipGloss , which apparently happens to be my first tinted lipgloss too, as before this I was used to only lipsticks or lip balms. It took me a while to get used to the concept of glosses. I bought the shade 04 Glimmer: Neutrogena Moistureshine Gloss Like usual glosses, it comes
