Makeup Trends for 2012

(Guest post by Steven Sanchez)

Every year has its’ groove in all faucets of fashion. Make-up is no exception.  Paris, London and New York have all had their 2012 summer fashion shows. Based on these shows, trends for 2012 have been decided. So, as you switch out your winter wardrobe for spring and summer, switch out your makeup too. Colorful, light and feminine are taking over 2012.

Full Lush Eyebrows

Put down the tweezers! This year a fuller, more powerful brow is in. If your eyebrows have been over-plucked, let them grow in a little. By using a brow pencil or brow powder you can achieve this look. A good rule of thumb is for eyebrows to be slightly darker than your hair.

Colorful Smokey Eyes

If you have been shopping at all this year, you have notice that 2012 is the year of color. And, this isn’t a pale, shy color. It is vibrant. It is bright. This trend is being taken to your eyes as well. Instead of the traditional black or brown smoky eyes, brighten it up with any color of eye shadow you choose, like those found at NuSkin, Mac, and Clinique. Because this look creates a dramatic eye, it is best to pair it with a neutral lip and cheek.

Luscious Red Lips

This year dare to rock red lips. Any shade of red will suffice, and you can find whatever color you want at NuSkin, Este Lauder and Stila. You can go for the matte or shiny look. Don’t be shy. This look draws automatic attention to your kissable lips. Combine with neutral eyes and lips to really make your lips pop.
If fire engine red is a little too bold for you, use a red lip gloss that is more subtle. Red lipstick is a classy look that is here to stay. If you aren’t quite ready to join that bandwagon, tone it down with lighter shades.

Killer Lashes

Eyelashes are getting longer and longer. Women have begun to wear false lashes as an everyday look. With regular, every-day women getting eyelash extensions, it is no longer just a look celebrities rock. Eyelash extensions can be pricey, not to mention that they need to be retouched every three weeks. They are absolutely stunning, but a serious commitment. If you aren’t ready to make the time or financial commitment, feel free to glue on your falsies.

Eye Liner

Black eye liner is here to stay. Slightly winged, giving a very minimal cat eye look is hot for 2012. The top liner and wing is thicker than the bottom. Depending on how daring you are, the wing can be extended as much as you dare. Because this is an intense look, pair with light brown or nude eye shadow and a small amount of blush.

Olay Natural White Lotion With Mulberry Leaf Extracts - Review

Olay Natural White Lotion With Mulberry Leaf Extracts  The best way to spend four hours of waiting period in Dubai transit is to do shopping. The main reasons behind buying this lotion were: 1) I wanted to try Olay as a brand as I’d heard a lot of good stories about it. 2) I wanted a light moisturizing face lotion that has SPF, UVA/UVB protection and could be worn easily below my foundation for day wear. Olay Natural White Lotion With Mulberry Leaf Extracts Price: $10 Quantity: 30 ml What does Olay say about its Natural White lotion ?

Neutrogena Moistureshine Gloss - Review, Swatches

Neutrogena Moistureshine Gloss - Review I began to use Neutrogena brand long back, when I was in US. The first product I bought of this brand was a liquid foundation, which was my first foundation of all. And, as expected I chose the wrong shade and had to throw it away. The second thing I bought sometime back was this Neutrogena Moistureshine LipGloss , which apparently happens to be my first tinted lipgloss too, as before this I was used to only lipsticks or lip balms. It took me a while to get used to the concept of glosses. I bought the shade 04 Glimmer: Neutrogena Moistureshine Gloss Like usual glosses, it comes
