Hello friends!
I am extremely excited and kind of 'electrified' to announce
today this contest that has been sponsored by L'Oreal Paris to celebrate the
launch of their L'Or Electric Range on completing their 15 year partnership
with the Cannes Film Festival as its official Make Up artiste. I've shared more
details about this range HERE.
Now, coming to the fun a.k.a
the contest part:
Since the range has been inspired by the extravagance of the
80s: post-modernism, neon, Studio.54, day-glo, new wave and the beginnings of
electronic music; this contest is all
set to make you unleash your "bright side" and get as bold as you can
with your eye makeup.
As the theme suggests - "Electrifying Eyes", I
leave the creativity on you, how you want to go neon, sparkly, bright and
electrifying!

So, without wasting
anymore time, here I am detailing the rules for the contest:
1) It is mandatory for all the participants to
"Like" Beauty Diaries Facebook page HERE and also Like this post. You can click on the "Like" button below this post's heading to do that.
2) All you have to do is to come up with bright and creative
eye makeup looks, which are truly electrifying in your own way.
(Hint - You can
even replicate your favorite celebrity's makeup look that she sported at Cannes
Red Carpet -2012. Check out some of the gorgeous looks and their makeup
breakdowns HERE , which you can imitate and even give your personal touch to it.)
3) You can submit multiple entries too.
4) You need to send atleast 3 images for the contest
1) One
closeup of your open eye (ofcourse with the eyemakeup!)
2) One
closeup of your closed eye, showing your work on the lids.
3) One
closeup of both the eyes, showcasing your eyemakeup
You can send more pics too if you wish! :D
4) I'll be publishing all the entries here at Beauty
Diaries, so the images will be copyrighted under Beauty Diaries.
5) All the entries must be unique, fresh and specifically
created for the contest. I have the right to disqualify any entry in case it
doesn't stay fit to the theme, or if I come to know that you've submitted the
eye makeup elsewhere too (before or after entering here!)
6) The contest is valid only for participants staying in
India.
7) The contest will run from June 1st, 2012 to June 21st, 2012. I'll announce the results on June 26th, 2012 (which happens to be my
b'day too :P ).

I'll start publishing the entries at Beauty Diaries from June 1st 2012, so you have plenty of
time to brainstorm your ideas and come up with your electrifying eye makeup
looks! :)
The contest will be judged on the basis of originality,
creativity, relevance to the theme and overall finish of the look. No, you
don't need any votes, nor do you need Facebook likes to win the contest!! :)
However, you can still share it with your friends and flaunt your creative
skills! :) By all means, go ahead and do that! After all who doesn’t want to be
appreciated for all the hard work?

I can't tell you how excited I am about the many gorgeous
and creative neon and fluorescent looks I'd be going to see. It sure sounds fun
