Review: Magic Mineral Eye and Neck Cream, by Dr.OlenGin

Both eyes and neck are the first to show signs of aging, and so must be treated with extra care. Using Dr. OlenGin’s unique Dead Sea mineral based formulas, this Magic Eye and Neck Cream is highly enriched with Dead Sea minerals, and contains both Serine and Sorbitol that maintain the skin’s moisture levels throughout the day. This cream also contains Urea and Lactic acid that give the skin a vibrant young look while providing protection against environmental damage to the skin cell, and an essence of Aloe Vera, that will leave your skin relaxed and refreshed.

My experience with this cream:

Till date I've used only one neck Decollete serum which was from Duchess Marden Damascena (reviewed HERE) and I quite liked my experience with it. This particular eye and neck cream has been my second such product to use. The cream comes in a wide mouthed jar and the consistency of the cream is more like a serum. However, unlike other serums that I've used so far, this cream takes some time to get thoroughly absorbed into my skin. I have been regularly using this cream on my eye contours and neck for a few weeks now and though I can't comment much on any visible difference, I can still say that I liked the overall effect it gave to my skin. It definitely makes the skin under my eyes quite moisturized and helps in smooth application of concealer afterwards. Since I don't have any fine lines and wrinkles yet, I can't say much about its anti-aging action. Nevertheless, it does soften and smoothen the skin on my neck and under the eyes.

As far as dislikes are concerned, one issue is that it takes some time to get thoroughly absorbed into the skin. Since the cream has more serum like consistency and is a bit runny, I'd have preferred it to come in a bottle with a pump to squeeze the product out. I find jar packaging a bit unhygienic to use and I have to take care of thoroughly clean fingers every time I dip my finger in it to take the product out. Another problem with this cream is that it isn't available easily everywhere, but you can purchase it from Dr.OlenGin's official website HERE.

Overall:

It is a decent cream for nourishing the areas around your eyes and on your neck. A very little amount is more than enough to take care of both the areas, so one jar would run for a very long time. I didn't experience any difference in my dark circles, but it doesn't claim to do anything there so that is ok. It has a very mild floral fragrance which is quite soothing to the senses and doesn't stay for long. Overall a good cream for moisturizing the skin around your eyes and neck.

Rating: 3.75/5 (B)

In all the shopping I did there, I bought this particular lotion as well. The main reasons behind buying this lotion were: 1) I wanted to try Olay as a brand as I’d heard a lot of good stories about it. 2) I wanted a light moisturizing face lotion that has SPF, UVA/UVB protection and could be worn easily below my foundation for day wear. Neutrogena Moistureshine Gloss - Review, Swatches

Neutrogena Moistureshine Gloss - Review I began to use Neutrogena brand long back, when I was in US. The first product I bought of this brand was a liquid foundation, which was my first foundation of all. And, as expected I chose the wrong shade and had to throw it away. The second thing I bought sometime back was this Neutrogena Moistureshine LipGloss , which apparently happens to be my first tinted lipgloss too, as before this I was used to only lipsticks or lip balms. It took me a while to get used to the concept of glosses. I bought the shade 04 Glimmer: Neutrogena Moistureshine Gloss Like usual glosses, it comes
