Mascara is one of my favorite of all eye makeup products and
I love to experiment with different mascaras that can give decent length and
volume. I usually look for dramatic volume more, even for my day time looks.
Absolutely love my lashes to look more lashy any time!

My experience with
this mascara
Since, I've read quite good reviews about mascaras that come
with a lash primer as they give intense volume without causing clumps, I'd
similar expectations
from this mascara as well. It has this two step formula where you coat your lashes with the lash primer first and then go ahead with the mascara. It does fare amazingly in giving good length and some amount of volume to my lashes. The good thing about using a primer before the actually mascara application, is that each lash gets separated and coated well with the thickening formula. Once I apply mascara over it, the difference gets easily noticeable. Also, I have never experienced any sort of clumps on my lashes, even when I've gone overboard with my application. Absolutely love it.

The only dislike that I feel about this mascara is that it
is not waterproof. Though it doesn't cause too much mess around my eyes when
comes in contact with water and does get cleaned up easily using a wet tissue,
it does spill around to cause raccoon eyes if I happen to be outside and get
drenched in rain. I prefer to wear more of waterproof mascara, especially in
current rainy season. There is a waterproof version too of the same mascara, so I'd like to get that one next.
Also, this mascara may not be your on-the-go mascara if you
are in a hurry. Of course, you can anytime skip the priming step and just apply
the mascara, but if you want to get the full effect, you need to have to wait
for 20-30 seconds after applying primer so that it dries up, before you go with
actual mascara application.
Overall:
It is a good black mascara that gives dramatic length and some
amount of volume to my lashes. If you are not too particular about
non-waterproof formulas then this can definitely be a great buy for every day makeup.
