My experience with this ClearGlow Shine-free Clear Stick

Maybelline New York ClearGlow Shine-free Clear Stick has been branded as their BB stick. I've already used BB cream from Maybelline (reviewed HERE) and I quite liked the way it worked with my skin; the shade that went perfectly with my skintone was 03 - Natural.This particular BB stick from the brand comes in a thick fat bullet in a nice handy packaging with a transparent cap. I have this in shade 04 - Fawn, which is a bit darker than my skintone, but it blends well into my skin to give a smooth coverage.
The BB stick is quite creamy and glides on well on my skin. I have usually used it more as a concealer than using it all over my face. I apply it only on certain areas like under the eyes, around my nose and mouth, where I have slightly darker and pigmented skin. The shade works nicely in giving a bit of softness to these areas, over which I can then apply my regular foundation.The product stays on my face without getting patchy or flaky for around 4-5 hours. I like the way it keeps my skin shine free for so long especially around my nose.

One thing that it doesn't give much as compared to the BB cream is the necessary hydration. I have to apply a moisturizer separately over my skin before using this BB stick.

Overall, I find it quite a nice and handy product to keep in your bag, that can be excellent for the touch ups whenever you are in hurry. The product goes smoothly on the skin, doesn't look patchy and gives a decent coverage. It has all the qualities of a BB cream except for the sufficient hydration, in a convenient and user friendly packaging.
