Faces Foundation brush review
Faces Foundation Brush |
My experience with this Faces Foundation brush
Though I already have stippling brush, foundation brush, buff brush and makeup sponges with me, I do tend to use my fingers most of the times to apply foundation. However, I've always noticed a great deal of difference in the finishes I get from same foundation with the change in applicators. From my experience with foundation brushes, I've felt that it takes a bit more time in getting smoother and natural looking coverage on face, as compared to sponges or buff brushes. When I tried this Faces foundation brush, I was pretty impressed on how easily it got me that natural finish without making my foundation look overdone or streaky at all.The brush comes with a long sleek black handle. The brush's hair have incredibly soft touch to give a smooth finish in one go. However, they are firm enough to press the foundation properly on the skin. I've used this brush plenty of times to apply my foundations as well as BB creams and it worked wonderfully well in both the cases. I like to wash my brushes after every use and I've washed this brush too 5-6 times till now. I've not experienced any shedding, nor has the softness of the brush's hair gone down.
The only thing that I can think of as a con about Faces Foundation brush is that I feel the width of the brush to be a bit lesser than the usual foundation brushes I've tried so far. It is also thinner in density comparatively. Its width is between a concealer brush and a foundation brush, so when I load the brush with foundation, it takes very less amount in a go. I usually dot the foundation all over my face with my fingers and then use this brush to blend it seamlessly into my skin. That way it works perfectly for me.
