My experience with this lipstick
If you are looking for a dark and rich colored drama lipstick, then this can be the perfect choice for you. The lipstick has a brownish plum shade and is loaded with micro-fine golden shimmers. In some way, it reminds me a lot of the Avon Ultra Moisture Gold Rich Lipstick - Golden Wine that I reviewed HERE a while back; just that this one is a bit brownish and more plum than the Avon one.
The lipstick has a smooth texture and glides on well on my lips. The shade is super opaque and gives a nice rich color on one swipe. You can see visible golden shimmers right away. It has super glossy finish and looks beautiful on application. The shade though has a tendency to give you more "matured" look, however I feel it can look wonderful with Indian ethnic wears. Since the lipstick is quite in itself enough to make a statement, I usually wear it with minimal makeup - just some mascara on my lashes, and some light pink blush on the cheeks.
The staying power of this lipstick is just 2-3 hours if I don't eat or drink anything in between, else it starts fading away within an hour. You need to be careful with the shimmers as they get left behind once the lipstick fades away (I am not a big fan of that! ). Keep a tissue ready to remove the shimmers once you feel your lipstick has gone away (or better do the touch ups if you can!)
