Dove Intense Repair Keratin Active Shampoo and Conditioner
A while back I shared with you the launch of Dove's new Intense Repair Hair Therapy range with ¼ moisture milk, which is enhanced with Keratin Actives. It helps rebuild hair at the cellular level making it stronger, smoother and beautiful every day from end to end!

My experience with the shampoo
I've always loved using Dove shampoos for their lovely fragrance and mild yet effective work on my hair. This particular shampoo again has a lovely soft floral fragrance and gives a nice decent lather. As compared to the shampoos from Dove's previous ranges, I felt the consistency of this shampoo to be a bit thinner, however it gives a lot of lather; much more than what earlier shampoos used to give. The shampoo gently and effectively cleanses my hair and gives a nice smooth touch to my hair in one wash only. With second wash, just a small amount is more than enough to take care of entire hair and scalp.
As far as the results are concerned, I've felt my hair to go much softer and smoother with every wash. My hair usually go crazy, sticky and rough in rainy season and trend to break a lot because of the humidity. This shampoo has helped a lot in taking care of my hair by giving them an even and smoother texture, even when I don't get time to regularly apply hair oil.
The only con that I can think of about this shampoo is the huge list of chemicals it has, particularly the presence of SLS.
Overall, I'd certainly recommend this shampoo for people who have dry hair with uneven hair texture like me, and if you also face the problems of hair breakage and stickiness in monsoons then you must certainly give this shampoo a try.

My experience with the conditioner:
This conditioner from the range comes with its signature Dove fragrance which is amazingly soothing and relaxing to the senses and lingers on my hair for whole day whenever I use it after shampooing my hair. The consistency of the conditioner is similar to the other Dove conditioners. A small amount aptly covers my hair and gets easily rinsed off too.
As far as the results are concerned, I feel this conditioner to be more effective in giving much straighter and smoother hair as compared to the conditioners I've used before. I have wavvy hair and they tend to become almost flat, light and bouncy for entire day of hair wash. The good thing is that it never weighed down my hair, and hence I like the balance it gives to them.
Again the con is the presence of so many chemicals in it.
Overall, if you are having the problem of unruly hair and want to tame them up to make them look smoother, then you should definitely give this conditioner a try.
