My experience with this lipstick
I liked the sleek glossy new packaging of this lipstick
which is quite handy and comes with a cap that can be securely locked. The
shade Peony Goal is a n*de-pinky-peach shade with matte finish. However, once applied
on lips, it shows the presence of micro fine shimmers that look beautiful. The
lipstick is quite opaque and gives a good color in just one swipe. It is super
creamy and glides well on my lips. It has very very mild (almost non-noticeable)
floral fragrance. As far as the staying power is concerned, I was a bit
disappointed from this. It stayed put for around 3-4 hours on an average, and
with meals it stayed put for just 2 hours.
However, the lipstick is amazingly moisturizing and I have
been wearing it a lot these days, especially for day time wear. The shade can
easily give a nice refreshing touch to your face and is perfect for everyday
office wear. However, you will have the need to carry it in your handbag for
the touch ups as it doesn't fit in the "9 to 5 stay claim" at all.
I've tried using a bit of compact powder over the lipstick and it greatly seals
it on my lips by making my lipstick stay put for 4-5 hours, so you can give
that a try too.
Overall, a lipstick with lovely shade, excellent color
pay-off, average staying power and is quite hydrating to the lips. If you love
such shades, then this can be a good buy.
