New Maybelline Colossal Kajal (12 hours formula)

I reviewed the original Maybelline New York Colossal Kajal a while back HERE and also posted a video of its smudge test too. Today, I'd like to talk about the new improved version of the same Kajal that claims to stay for 12 hours without smudging or fading away. So did it stay true to its claim? Lets check it out below:

My experience with this kajal:

The kajal comes in same packaging the way it used to come earlier. The yellow colored pencil with a twist up kajal inside makes it easy to apply without bothering to sharpen it every time. The kajal is intense black and gives gorgeous, smoldering black color in one swipe. It sets within seconds of application and doesn't smudge or budge at all. For testing the effectiveness of this kajal I wore it for 6-8 hours and in whole span I even washed my face many times with cold water. I quite liked the way this kajal stayed put without creating any mess around my eyes. Closing to 8 hours it started fading a bit and didn't spread much around my eyes, which was pretty impressive.

The kajal was easy to wash off using my regular eye makeup remover. Overall, I must say that this has become my HG kajal, especially in current humid weather here. With all the washing and splashing my eyes with cold water, it managed to stay for 7-8 hours with just a bit of fading, so I'd definitely recommend it to you if you are looking for a long staying kajal that doesn't smudge much around the eyes. At the price it comes for, I definitely find it a steal.
