Garnier White Complete Fairness Facewash Review
Hi friends,
I hope you are enjoying the onset of winters. I love the mushy weather of the current season and the way it makes me feel cozy and calm. It feels awesome to be back on my blog now with a new review, while sipping my morning cup of hot tea in this cool weather. I watched "Ram Leela" movie yesterday and though I loved the onscreen chemistry and superb acting skills of Deepika and Ranveer, the movie somehow couldn't make much mark in my head. It was literally a "Goliyon ki Raasleela" in true sense, as my head was buzzing with the endless sounds of bullets as I came out of the hall. It took a strong cup of tea afterwards for me to get rid of the pounding in my head. Anyways, what I loved the most about the movie were Deepika's gorgeous earrings!
Now, coming to the reviews, I know there are loads pending to be done and I hope to be more steady in my product reviews now onwards. Here, starting it with the review of Garnier White complete Fairness Facewash, which I began using almost a month back along with Garnier White Complete Fairness cream (which I'd be reviewing next!). Here, below goes my review of the facewash:
Price for Quantity: INR 78/- for 50ml
My experience with this facewash:
Garnier White Complete Fairness facewash has a cream based formula. It comes in a white tube with screw-open lid. The facewash doesn't lather much but does work well in cleansing off all the oil and dirt properly. I like the fact that it is quite mild on my skin and doesn't give a 'parched' feeling on my skin immediately after its usage, though I do apply a cream or moisturizer immediately after washing my face. It has very mild fragrance that reminds me of 'tea' (somehow!).
However, since the fragrance is too mild, it is almost negligible and won't bother any sensitive noses. I can't comment much on its abilities of 'imparting fairness'. It does work well in cleansing while keeping my skin hydrated, so I believe it might make your skin 'glow' by not getting it rid of the 'good oils'. All in all, I find it a good facewash, especially for winters. Check out a quick recap of my likes and dislikes about this facewash below:
Likes:
1) Nice cream based formula that works well in cleansing the face of all the oil and dirt.
2) Very mild on skin and doesn't give a dry-skin feeling after washing my face from this facewash.
3) Almost negligible fragrance - good for people with sensitive noses.
4) A little amount is enough for each wash, so a tube would run for long.
Dislikes:
1) Doesn't lather much, so if you love your facewash to create a nice 'heavenly' lather on your face to give you a thorough cleansed feeling, you may not like this.
2) It comes with a screw open lid, which I find quite inconvenient to use. I prefer my facewash tube to have a flip-open cap, making the usage more easy.
3) If you like your facewashes to smell of fresh flowers and fruits to give you a nice freshened-up feeling, you may not like this.
4) Not sure about its action in getting fairness!
Overall it is a decent facewash that does work well in all aspects of 'face cleansing'. It cleanses my face well, gives a nice smooth and hydrated feeling to my skin, has a mild smell and a tube lasts for a long time, so all in all I'd certainly recommend you to get this.
