With winters comes the season of warm comfort foods, hot chocolate and deep wine, berry and mauve lipsticks. Though I don't follow "season trends" for the choice of my lipsticks. It mostly depends on my mood of the day, however I do certainly get more drawn towards my dark color shades during autumn and winter season. I picked this particular lipstick from my mom's vanity case and have been using it a lot these days! Let us have a look below:

Elle 18 color pop lipstick has been quite a craze amongst youngsters, and after using it for the first time, I do understand why is it so popular. The lipstick comes in a fat black case with nice attractive packaging, and the bullet has decent size and shape for ease of application. The shade "Berry crush" is a gorgeous mauve-pink shade and instantly brightens up my face and entire look. It is quite opaque and gives a semi-matte finish.
I was quite amazed at the quality of the lipstick and the way it feels so smooth and hydrating on my lips. The lipstick stays put for around 1.5 to 2 hours on my lips if I am not eating or drinking anything. It fades evenly and leaves a pinkish tint on the lips even after 4-5 hours of wearing it. The only drawback that I can think of is its sweet caramely fragrance with a bit of medicinal touch to it. I didn't like its smell at all, however it goes off after a while of application, so shouldn't be too much of a problem.
Overall, I find this lipstick from Elle 18 Color Pops Lipstick range, to be an excellent one for the current season. The shade Berry Crush is perfect for this season, the lipstick is smooth and very hydrating on lips. I've never felt a need of applying any lip balm beneath this lipstick as it does work well in keeping my lips moisturized. A great budget buy - I must say!
