Elle 18 Glow Compact - Marble

I recently started using this compact (just around 2 weeks back) and thought of reviewing it here today. I have oily-combination skin and my skintone is medium-fair (Asian). Let us have a look at my experience with this compact below:

My experience with this Elle 18 Glow Compact :

I usually don't apply much foundation. However, concealer on certain parts of my face and a compact come in my "must haves" list. My oily-combination skin generally tends to behave as a normal skin during winters and I don't have to fuss too much about keeping my face shine-free. I began using Elle 18 Glow Compact around 2 weeks back and somehow it has fared ok with me so far.

The compact is smooth and easy to use. It does feel a bit like talc on my face, and I need to be careful in the quantity of the product that I take on the powder puff so that I don't end up getting whitish cast on my face. However, it does blend well into my skin and gives a nice soft finish to the face. For the price it comes, I was quite surprised by its excellent and sturdy packaging (which comes with a small mirror) and its nice and soft puff that works decently in applying the product evenly all over my face.

Apart from its talc feel, I find it pretty good on my skin. Another issue that I can think of about this compact is the lack of any list of ingredients on its pack. I generally like to know what I am putting on my skin. Also, its availability might be a con as I couldn't find it available in any of the online shopping portals so far.

Overall, I find Elle 18 Glow Compact a decent compact powder for Fair-Medium Asian skin tone (Going by MAC standards my skin tone is NC 35-37). It does keep my face well behaved for whole day, but that might be just because of the current weather. I might like to try it again in summers and see how well it fares on my skin. Since it comes with a shelf life of 24 months, I can keep it secured for summer time usage and update the results here accordingly.
