My experience with Himalaya Herbals Fairness Kesar Facewash

Himalaya Herbals Fairness Kesar Facewash comes in a nice translucent tube with flip-open cap (my fav kind of packaging for a facewash as it makes life so easy and simple! I hate facewash tubes that come with screw open lids). It has a light yellow color, probably because of the presence of kesar (saffron) in it and has yummy fruity fragrance (probably because of the presence of pomegranate, cucumber and mint!). It has a thick consistency and lathers well. Good thing is that it is easy to wash off too, as I don't fancy splashing too much cold water on my face in winter season (I know I should use warm water, but I like the refreshing effect of cold water on my face and eyes! :) ) I love to use this facewash mainly after coming back from outside, especially when I've spent my time sitting under the hot glowing sun (feels so great in current winters!).

The facewash gives an instant soothing and cooling effect to the skin, probably because of menthol in it. The cooling and refreshing feel from this facewash feels quite natural and its yummy fragrance definitely relaxes the senses to the core. I am not quite sure about its fairness properties, but it does work well as a mild facewash by cleansing all the dirt and oil off my skin, without making it feel too dry. My skin tone hasn't changed in past 10 days of usage so can't comment on that, though all the good ingredients in it - saffron, cucumber, mint and pomegranate should have some good effects in long usage.

Now, coming to the ingredients part, though there are certain good stuffs in the facewash, it comes with a good number of chemicals as well. If you aren't too fussy about them then overall, I find it a decent facewash for everyday use.
