L'Oreal Paris Rouge Caresse Lipsticks - 102 - Mauve Cherie, 103 - Sweet Berry : Reviews, Swatches
With the onset of summers and all the humidity around me, I usually prefer the lip products that are light on weight, don't melt on my lips (and off lips too!), give appropriate shine and hydration to my lips and give smooth and soft color too. These two lipsticks that I got from L'Oreal Paris's Rouge Caresse Lipstick range - 102 Mauve Cherie and 103 Sweet Berry work perfectly fine for summers and I simply love using them these days. My experience with these L'Oreal Paris Rouge Caresse lipsticks:
L'Oreal Paris Rouge Caresse Lipsticks come in a very secure packaging with proper locking system, so you can easily carry them in your bag and don't have to worry about typical "lipstick accidents" that mostly happenin the heat and humidity of summers. The lipsticks can easily handle the heat well and don't melt even in 42 degrees here. When applied, they go smoothly on my lips and give semi-opaque coverage and shine. These lipsticks give a sheer finish on one go, but give better color pay-off on second and third swipe. The lipsticks have slightly floral fragrance.
The shade 102 - Mauve Cherie is a gorgeous soft n*dey-mauve shade that can work beautifully with soft smokey eye makeup look. It has a hint of brown in it and can even go well with beach makeup looks, or something you might want to wear on a pool party.
The other shade 103 - Sweet berry is a lovely soft pink color with a hint of plum to it. I can think of wearing this lipstick on a coffee date or a shopping date with my friends.
Both are beautiful summer colors and I am quite loving wearing them these days a lot. The staying power of L'Oreal Paris Rouge Caresse lipsticks is just ok. They stay for max 2 hours on my lips after which the color fades off. However, my lips stay hydrated for a long time even after the lipsticks have been wiped off completely.
Overall, I quite loved these lipsticks for summers and would certainly love to buy more colors. :) Which of these are you eyeing?
