Hi friends, With the onset of summers, I usually become more of a gloss girl than being just a regular lipstick user. And I prefer to use more of light pinks and peach colors. Today, I am reviewing a super gorgeous lip product by Maybeline New York, which is from their latest lip polish range of products. My Experience with this Maybelline Lip Polish Glam 9:
After having an awesome experience with the first lip polish product that I used from Maybelline New York, I had super high expectations from this one as well and it didn't disappoint me at all. Maybelline Lip Polish Glam 9 is a beautiful pink lip gloss-lipstick that can easily be a 'my-lips-but-better (MLBB)' shade for most of the Indian skin tones.The color pay-off is great and it decently hydrates the lips while giving adequate shine to them. The formula goes opaque on my slightly pigmented lips, but feels quite light on the lips and stays put for 2 hours.The fragrance is slightly fruity but just lingers lightly for a while and is almost unnoticeable within moments of application.
The sponge tip applicator gives an even and full coverage to lips in just one swipe. I have been using this a lot these days and I have worn it pretty much with almost all types of my regular makeup looks- just kohled eyes, smokey eyes, only mascara-ed (!!) eyes, and even with bare face having just a bit of concealer to hide my skin's imperfections, topped with a compact powder.
This lip polish complimented all my looks quite well and definitely has become one of my staples these days. I don't have any dislike from this lip polish except for the fact that it is called "Glam 9" , instead of a nice fancy name. I would have loved to call it "Soft pouty pink" or something like that. Nevertheless, I would certainly love to purchase it again.
