The Guardian Angels Book by Rohit Gore: Review
I read this book - The Guardian Angels by Rohit Gore, around 6 months back and wanted to review the book that time itself. However, my urgent surgery took a toll on few things in my life and the review too got delayed. Now, as I got time to read it again in past few days,I couldn't stop myself from writing my thoughts about the book here.
About the The Guardian Angels Book:
. . . he is the son of a billionaire,
she is the daughter of a socialist.
. . . he is quiet and unassuming,
she is a firebrand and spirited.
However, the unexplained phenomena
ties them forever – whenever they are in peril, they are each other’s only saviors.Over the following two decades Adi and Radha live through hope and despair, joy and sadness, and try to decipher their relationship. As the truth of their bond is revealed, they must confront the true nature of love, and ultimately, their destinies.
My thoughts about The Guardian Angels Book:
The Guardian Angels Book talks about a journey of two people who come from entirely different background and beliefs, but brought to each other by destiny to protect each other from various 'dangerous and critical' situations. They both love each other unconditionally - a love that grew up with time and not something they 'fell in'; yet they face the dilemma to be with each other. And no, it isn't our stereotypical society or parents wish and will to decide that, but something more - an anomaly, a rare but strong one ; strong enough to keep them away from each other. I found the story amazingly gripping and very different from a normal love story. The journey of 20 years portrayed in the book takes you through the most weird and incomprehensible challenges one can face and the hope of coming out of them successfully.Of course, Adi and Radha had a bond strong enough to be each other's saviour at times one needs the other the most. They are each other’s best friends and advisors as well. I am usually not much into romance, but this love story is something that makes a link between reality and fiction and I loved the light moments shared by the lead characters. It was an overwhelming experience going through the 20 years of life lead by them.
The best thing that I liked about the story was the way I could connect with both Radha and Adi separately, in living their lives, and experiencing their thoughts and emotions. The way the writer has described various stages of their lives and included one or another mystery did make the book very addicting!
The Guardian Angels Book is available on leading online shopping websites like flipkart and amazon.
