TRESemme split Remedy Shampoo and Conditioner Review
Before starting with the review and my experience with TRESemme split Remedy Shampoo and Conditioner, let me tell you a bit about my hair. I have a bit dry and slightly wavvy hair, that tend to become rougher in summers because of heat and humidity ( and tend to become roughest and toughest in winters because of cold and frizz!).
Anyways, probably you got the point that I am quite prone to getting split ends problem because of my hair type. I do make it a point to use my Crea clip to trim the ends of my hair every 2 months, to avoid split end growth. So, when I began using TRESemme split Remedy Shampoo and Conditioner, I was quite curious to see how they fare on my hair. Did they work? Read on to know more:

My Experience with TRESemme split Remedy Shampoo:
I've already had great experience with TRESemme Hairfall Defense shampoo, and hence I had quite high expectations with TRESemme split Remedy Shampoo as well. The shampoo comes in signature TRESemme black bottle with a press-open lid to take the product out. The shampoo is a pearly liquid with medium consistency. A teaspoon full amount is apt for covering my entire scalp and 20 inches long hair. It lathers well and is quite easy to wash off too. I like the way it cleanses my scalp while staying mild on my hair. It doesn't leave my hair dry after the wash and many times when I am in a hurry,
I simply go ahead with a quick wash using this shampoo (skipping the conditioner!). My hair stay good for at least 2 days, don't get frizzy at all and don't get much sticky or entangled in the heat and humidity. I guess this quality of the shampoo of keeping the hair frizz-free can work well in avoiding the split ends in long run. On that note, let us look at some of the likes and dislikes that I've felt about TRESemme split Remedy Shampoo below:
Likes:
2) It lathers well, cleanses my scalp well in one wash only. If I have applied oil to my hair before wash, it takes two washes to get the oil off completely my scalp.
3) It doesn't make my scalp and hair dry after the wash.
4) Helps keep my hair stay frizz-free for 2 days after each wash.
5) Has a mild fragrance which stays on the hair whole day after the wash.
6) Helps my hair behave better in the heat and humidity, by making them less sticky.
Dislikes:
1) It comes with SLS (Sodium Laureth Sulfate) and silicones.
2) I didn't see any noticeable difference in just 3 washes as per the claims. But my hair structure has definitely improved a lot over the 2 week of usage, and I use it thrice every week.

My Experience with TRESemme split Remedy Conditioner:
The TRESemmé split Remedy Conditioner comes in the TRESemme signature white bottle with a press-open lid to take the product out. The packaging is similar to the TRESemme Climate Control Conditioner, that I reviewed here sometime back. The conditioner has white color and thick consistency. However, it easily spreads well on my long hair and a small amount is enough for one time usage. I usually keep the conditioner on my hair for 2-3 minutes, after washing it with TRESemme split Remedy Shampoo. It gets easily rinsed off and leaves my hair smooth and soft after every wash.
Though TRESemme split Remedy Shampoo keeps my hair hydrated, this conditioner gives extra bounce and softness to my hair. Another good thing is that it never made my hair weigh down. It just aptly conditions them to stay soft and bouncy for 2-3 days after each wash. So, on that note, let us look at some of the likes and dislikes that I've felt about TRESemme split Remedy Conditioner below:
Likes:
1) Comes in a nice handy bottle with press-open lid for easy usage.
2) A small amount is apt to cover my thick long hair.
3) Easy to rinse off.
4) Has mild fragrance which when accompanied with TRESemmé split Remedy Shampoo's fragrance, makes my hair smell divine for entire day.
5) Adds softness and bounce to my hair, that stay put on my hair for 2-3 days after every wash.
Dislikes:
1) It doesn't show any extraordinary difference in my hair after 3 washes (as per the claims!). However, I am sure to see my hair structure go better in long run of using this conditioner. The way it helps my hair stay soft, frizz-free and bouncy, it can surely avoid my hair getting any further split ends.

Conclusion:
Overall, TRESemme split Remedy Shampoo and Conditioner are decent buys at the prices they come for. They decently work in keeping hair clean, fresh and well conditioned for 2-3 days after each wash, so I'd definitely like to continue using them. They avoid most of the factors that can cause split ends, so you can surely feel the difference after using them for a decent amount of time. I give them thumbs up!
