Pahadi Outfit of the day | Grey Woollen Kurta and Jingle Bells

After spending almost half of my life in Himachal Pradesh, I do agree to the quote that

"You can take a pahaadi out of the pahaad, but can't take the pahaad out of a pahaadi".

I am not a native of Himachal Pradesh, but I do have certain level of affinity to lots of things that have become a part of my habit.

And that includes a part of my attire as well. I can never get tired of Himachali woollen suits, kurtas, ponchos and mufflers.

Today was a bit colder than usual and I decided to wear this gorgeous grey woollen kurta and my usual muffler style.

I took my black muffler and tied it around my head, covering my ears before stepping out. I have always wore it this way, no matter where I lived.

The muffler was hand-knitted by my mom in 2008 and she gave it to me as a farewell gift when I was leaving to work in New York. It has been my favorite since then.
