Easy Tip to wear bright eyeshadow to Office

I have all bright colored eyeshadows like bright red from Inglot palette and deep blue from Glamour Goddess palette. I usually never get any occasion to wear these bright colors. In India, usually in corporate offices, people refrain from using any makeup. You may get weird stares that are enough to make you feel conscious, even if you sport a bit bright lipstick, so I always get too cuckoo to put on any eyeshadow other than browns.

Usually my office makeup consists of nude shade lipstick, some pink blush, kajal, eyeliner and mascara. Today, while getting ready for office as I gave a glance to my makeup palette, I wanted to wear the blue eyeshadow as I was wearing a dark blue dress. But, as is the trend in office, I was about to close the palette heaving a big sigh, when I thought of this idea.

I usually refrain from using bright colored eye pencils for the same reason of not sporting various colors at office (Reason why I didn't buy siahi). But, I used the following technique, which I believe can make any eyeshadow quite wearable for office people like me. Its a very easy technique and takes hardly 2 minutes to work on. It doesn't require any blending or mixing. You just need to prep your eye with proper base and compact powder and then take a thin brush, get right amount of eyeshadow on it and just line your lids with it. Smudge it a bit, apply black eyeliner, kajal, mascara and you are done.

Below I tried this technique with two eyeshadows: Dark blue from Glamour Goddess palette and  Sindoori red color from Inglot palette:
My naked eye
Blue eyeshadow only above the upper lashline instead of filling the whole lid
Apply liner and mascara

Now with red colored eyeshadow:

Inglot eyeshadow all above the upper lashline
With liner and mascara
Overall look
So, how did you find this? Which bright shade are you gonna sport today?

Neutrogena Moistureshine Gloss - Review, Swatches

Neutrogena Moistureshine Gloss - Review I began to use Neutrogena brand long back, when I was in US. The first product I bought of this brand was a liquid foundation, which was my first foundation of all. And, as expected I chose the wrong shade and had to throw it away. The second thing I bought sometime back was this Neutrogena Moistureshine LipGloss , which apparently happens to be my first tinted lipgloss too, as before this I was used to only lipsticks or lip balms. It took me a while to get used to the concept of glosses. I bought the shade 04 Glimmer: Neutrogena Moistureshine Gloss Like usual glosses, it comes

Olay Natural White Lotion With Mulberry Leaf Extracts - Review

Olay Natural White Lotion With Mulberry Leaf Extracts  The best way to spend four hours of waiting period in Dubai transit is to do shopping. In all the shopping I did there, I bought this particular lotion as well. The main reasons behind buying this lotion were: 1) I wanted to try Olay as a brand as I’d heard a lot of good stories about it. 2) I wanted a light moisturizing face lotion that has SPF, UVA/UVB protection and could be worn easily below my foundation for day wear. Olay Natural White Lotion With Mulberry Leaf Extracts Price: $10 Quantity: 30 ml What does Olay say about its Natural White lotion ?

Syoss Professional Performance Repair Therapy Shampoo - Review

Syoss Professional Performance Repair Therapy Shampoo During my visits to Germany, I spend a lot of time watching TV commercials, because of the only reason that I can somehow understand bits and pieces of them.
