Get Glowing skin by following proper skin care tips

While the festive season is round the corner, everyone is going on a mad scamper to try out what looks good and what does not on them. Newer brands of cosmetics are coming up and newer make up techniques too. However the eternal truth of beauty is that in case you want to look good, the most important cosmetic is - a healthy skin. If you have a glowing skin you can consider half of make up done.
Regardless of whether you have dry or oily skin, care is essential. Moreover these days stress and pollution so intimately tied with modern day living, is also harmful for the skin. So what can you do to take adequate steps to protect the skin?

1) Diet:

The most important of all skin care tips is a healthy diet. Make sure that you are eating right. Each nutrient in our body has a particular role to play. That is why in case you miss out any kind of nutrient you should know that you are compromising with your skin quality. Junk and fried food is never healthy. They are the primary reason for all kinds of acne outbreak on the skin.
Having lots of fruits, vegetables and any kind of fresh food is good for the skin. They provide for the necessary roughage that aids in flushing your system. Including lots of water is also pretty essential.

2) Proper CTM (Cleansing, Toning, and Moisturizing):

In case you have an active outdoor life, you need to take some extra steps as well. It is quite important that before going to bed, you should clean your face on a regular basis, followed by a toning procedure. Special care once a week is advisable. For oily skin it is good to use homemade exfoliator and a scrubber once in a week.
As for dry skin, using a fruit face mask helps.  Getting an oil massage is quite good for the health of the skin.

In case you think that following skin care routine takes too much time and energy, then just think again. It is quite easy to get a healthy and glowing skin. All you need to do is keep an eye on the diet. Spending time everyday for cleansing and toning of the facial muscles is not much of an overhead. You would at the most need 15 minutes daily.
As for the once a week - special skin treat is needed; that would not take more than half an hour. Just a little attention given to your skin would ensure that you have skin that is quite eye catching. Take proper care and show your glow.
