My experience with the Garnier Skin Naturals Sun Control Daily Moisturizer:

I bought this particular lotion, around a year back in a hope to protect my skin from any sun damage when I went on a tour to Dehradoon-musoori-Haridwar and Rishikesh. It was hot summers of May and since I had plans to spend most of my day’s time outside, I decided to get this sunscreen lotion. I tried using it a lot during the whole trip but ended up getting severe tans all over my face and neck, which took almost a month to heal.

The lotion, though quite good in its consistency becomes quite thin and runny in hot summers, making it difficult to apply properly on the face. Moreover, it takes ages to get absorbed effectively and leaves my face quite oily and sticky. The worst thing I felt about this lotion was that it used to block my pores, because of which my facial skin would revolt and sweat profusely to open the pores and end up washing off the whole lotion!

Having started on that note, the lotion was still kept untouched on my dresser till lately I found out a way of using it. I now use it as body lotion on the exposed parts of my hands and feet and (I hope!) it is working well there. I am sorry for not being able to write the ingredients here as I can't see ingredients on the bottle. I guess the ingredients were mentioned on the cover, which I threw while packing for the trip.

Below are some pros and cons of this sunscreen lotion:

Pros:

1) It contains SPF 15, which is good for sun protection.

2) The packaging is nice and sturdy.

3) It has worked normally on the exposed areas of my hands and feet and I feel that this lotion can be used best in those areas only where you are not going to get too much sweat.

4) May work ok during winters for sun protection.

Cons:

1) It becomes runny in summers.

2) It makes my already oily/combination skin even more oily and sticky and also makes my skin, sweat like anything.

3) I don't understand how can it be effective on anyone, if it has a tendency to wash itself off by the sweat it creates!!

4) Tests on animals.

I don't have any verdict for this, beside the one that you can use it as a sun protectant for your hands and feet, if you don't have a tendency to sweat there. Otherwise, it is a complete waste of money!

Will I purchase this?: Brrr...Never!!

P.S: The review is just my experience of the product. It might work for others.

Neutrogena Moistureshine Gloss - Review, Swatches

Neutrogena Moistureshine Gloss - Review I began to use Neutrogena brand long back, when I was in US. The first product I bought of this brand was a liquid foundation, which was my first foundation of all. And, as expected I chose the wrong shade and had to throw it away. The second thing I bought sometime back was this Neutrogena Moistureshine LipGloss , which apparently happens to be my first tinted lipgloss too, as before this I was used to only lipsticks or lip balms. It took me a while to get used to the concept of glosses. I bought the shade 04 Glimmer: Neutrogena Moistureshine Gloss Like usual glosses, it comes
