My experience with this mascara:
I got this mascara a couple of days back and I've been using it since then daily for office wear. I've found the mascara quite impressive in its own unique way. The first thing that I noticed about the mascara was its packaging. The tube is made up of regular hard plastic material like any other mascara, but the wand cap had a rubbery touch to it. I liked it as it gives better grip while applying the mascara and definitely avoids any slippage.
Next, when I took out the mascara wand, I was quite astonished to see it to be made up of thick rubber like substance, which makes it quite stable but also versatile at the same time. You can bend and turn the mascara brush to get the desired effects, which you want!
I found it to be very innovative, and yes the orientation of the brush and how you apply it on your lashes does make a lot of difference in the end results you get.

Now, coming to the brush, it has fine bristles which are perfect to comb your lashes properly and separate them evenly without causing any clumping. I usually apply this mascara morning around 8 AM and come back home by 6:00 PM evening. I was quite impressed to see that the mascara stayed that way on my eyes without drying up or wearing off all the day. Also, after coming home, I wash my face with simple water and face wash and it comes off easily without causing any mess around my eyes. I don't have to rub my eyes to take it off, nor do I have to sting my eyes with harmful cleansers. Just plain splash of water, gentle rubbing of face wash and its gone, which really makes it perfect for lazy bones like me! lol..
So below are the pros and cons of this Motives® Lustrafy High-Definition Mascara in Oynx:
Pros:
1) It comes with quite innovative packaging that gives you lot of control on how you want your lashes to look like. The brush and the wand can be bent in any angel to get the desired results, which I really found quite interesting.
2) I love the packaging of this mascara, which has thick rubber cap thereby giving me stable control over the application.
3) The bristles of this mascara are very fine and work quite well in evenly separating my lashes and defining my eyes well.
4) I've tried using this mascara with two different angles and I was surprised to see different end results from both. With regular normal straight wand, I got nice lengthening effects on my lashes, whereas with the bent angle, the mascara gave me a bit volumizing effects.

5) It is not water proof and comes off easily with water and face wash, making it perfect for people like me who don't want to work too much on removing their makeup.
6) I like the formula of this mascara, as it doesn't cause clumping with multiple applications. Even after 5-6 applications, I get very minuscle clumping, which can easily be tackled with a lash comber.
7) It never gave me any allergic reactions, nor did it break my lashes.
Cons:
- Availability: As of now, it is not available worldwide, but looking at the quality of this product I definitely would love to see it coming to India at least!
- Though the mascara wand is bendable and gives you a lot of control over your application, I still need to check over time how long it stays that way with all bending and flexing! I'll test its durability for another 2-3 months and will update here if I find any wear and tear or anything else wrong with the bendable rubber wand! Otherwise, I absolutely love it.
Overall rating: I like such versatile products that make their users in charge of how to use and what to get from these products. This mascara is definitely one of the best mascaras I've tried till date. It gives you decent length and a bit of volume too, depending on what you want and how you get it. Very clever technique, as if you don't get the desired results, your skills are to be blamed at rather than this mascara! lol. So, hone your skills well and I definitely recommend this for sure!
