I am usually not much of a foundation person. I apply foundation rarely, and till date I've only used liquid foundation. However, in summers it becomes a bit difficult to carry liquid foundation, so I simply stick to using a sunscreen, concealer and compact. When I came across Orchid Blue Mineral Foundation, I was quite intrigued at the concept of mineral and powdered foundation, and I've been loving using them now daily for everyday wear.
Orchid Blue Foundation is Non-comedogenic and won’t clog pores. All of their formulas are completely Bismuth free and safe to use on delicate and irritation prone skin.
The perfect foundation color should blend in easily, and seem to disappear. You should never try to change your natural skin tone with a darker foundation color.

My experience with these foundations:
As Medium honey was a bit too light for my skin tone (you can see it blended well on the inner part of my arm which is fairer than my facial skin tone), and deepest golden was a bit too darker for me, I mixed them both together in appropriate amount to get my shade. Since, it was difficult to apply foundation from the sample sachet I got, I used an old compact powder case to store the mix.
The first day I applied the mixed foundation, I liked the overall matte effect it gave to my skin. The best thing about the foundation mix was that, it gave a two in one effect to my skin (foundation + compact), which was pretty good. I've been using this foundation since past few weeks daily for office now.

Below are some pros and cons of this foundation:
Pros:
1) I love the coverage it gives to my skin, which is quite natural and fresh. It covers my marks and blemishes to good extent and also mattifies my skin. However, for darker spots I still use concealer beneath this as it gives average coverage.
2) It is quite light to wear, making it a perfect wear for summers. The foundation and compact effect makes it a two in one product which I like a lot.
3) I pretty much liked the staying power of this mineral foundation-mix on my oily-combination skin. While staying in air conditioned room, I've experienced a staying power of around 3-4 hours which is pretty good, after which I need to apply a compact over my face.
4) Price for the quantity and quality makes it quite affordable.
5) I love the fact that these mineral foundations are made up of skin friendly ingredients.
6) They never caused me any allergic reactions or break outs.
Cons:
1) The only issue I've experienced is that you need to be extra careful while applying these mineral foundations. Till date, I've blown a lot and it is quite annoying to clean the table of all the foundation dust. I am still not very comfortable of carrying it along with me to office for touch ups. I use a separate compact for that.
2) Availability and shade match can be an issue, as it is available on official website of Orchid Blue Mineral cosmetics, and getting the right shade online may be a problem. However, on their website they have tried to display the colors accurately. If you have never purchased their foundation before, they encourage you to try their affordable samples prior to purchasing full sized, in order to find your perfect shade.
Overall verdict: These have been my first mineral powder foundation, and I quite like them a lot for the light texture, comfortable coverage and mattifying results they give to me and hence make a perfect wear for hot summers.
