Review: Himalaya Herbals Clarifying Mud Pack

I have oily-combination skin and I usually love to use any mud pack that can cool my skin and give it a nice cleansed look along with a healthy glow, so when I came across this mud pack from Himalaya Herbals, I was more than happy to give it a try. I've been using this mud pack since past couple of weeks now and below goes the review of the same:

My experience with this mud pack:

Being an oily-combination skinned person, my mom always used to pester me to apply “Multani mitti” (fuller's Earth) face pack to my face. I somehow never liked it as it never suited me. I always used to get super dry and stretchy skin after using “multani mitti” (fuller's Earth) on my face. Also, it was a big overhead for me to wash it off (I don't like to use too much messy stuffs).

So, with that experience when I saw “multani mitti”(fuller's Earth) as one of the ingredients in this face pack; I was a bit worried on using it. The face pack came out in creamy consistency and amazing fragrance that had the traces of “multani mitti”(fuller's Earth), Walnut and other goodies in it. The face pack glided smoothly on my skin and gave an instant cooling effect. It took only 10-15 minutes for it to dry, and the dried out product wasn't scrunching my face at all. It was easy to wash off and the overall experience was quite simpler than what I thought.

Below are some pics:

And below are some the likes and dislikes that I've experienced from this face pack:

Likes:

1) I love the fragrance of this face pack. It is strong, it is intoxicating and it clearly tells the presence of ingredients in it.

2) The mud pack isn't muddy at all. It comes in a nice creamy consistency, easy to apply on face. The face pack is easy to wash off too, so no hassles!

3) Despite having bad experience with “multani mitti” (fuller's Earth), I quite liked the effect this mud pack gave to my face. The cooling effect definitely relaxes me facial muscles a lot after I've spent a hectic and tiring day at office. The fragrance is soothing to the senses and I feel an instant fresh and natural glow to my face after every usage. I use this face pack once in 3-4 days.

5) It doesn't leave my skin devoid completely of any hydration. I feel just a little bit of dryness, which can easily be taken care of by a moisturizer.

4) The ingredients are all natural and herbal hence definitely a lot skin friendlier than chemical face packs.

5) Quite affordable at the price.

Dislikes:

1) It contains parabens.

No other dislike as such! Just that it might not be very great for dry skinned beauties. For my oily skin, I absolutely loved it!

Overall rating: A good product for oily-combination skinned people.I don't have any black heads so can't say how it could fair there. If you don't have much time to work with face packs, this can be a good buy as it is completely hassle free, easy to use and gives appropriate results too.

Rating: 4/5

Olay Natural White Lotion With Mulberry Leaf Extracts - Review

Olay Natural White Lotion With Mulberry Leaf Extracts  The best way to spend four hours of waiting period in Dubai transit is to do shopping. In all the shopping I did there, I bought this particular lotion as well. The main reasons behind buying this lotion were: 1) I wanted to try Olay as a brand as I’d heard a lot of good stories about it. 2) I wanted a light moisturizing face lotion that has SPF, UVA/UVB protection and could be worn easily below my foundation for day wear. Neutrogena Moistureshine Gloss - Review, Swatches

Neutrogena Moistureshine Gloss - Review I began to use Neutrogena brand long back, when I was in US. The first product I bought of this brand was a liquid foundation, which was my first foundation of all. And, as expected I chose the wrong shade and had to throw it away. The second thing I bought sometime back was this Neutrogena Moistureshine LipGloss , which apparently happens to be my first tinted lipgloss too, as before this I was used to only lipsticks or lip balms. It took me a while to get used to the concept of glosses. I bought the shade 04 Glimmer: Neutrogena Moistureshine Gloss Like usual glosses, it comes
