Easy Food Recipes for Beauty

Often we spend so much money getting the products that can do something good to our skin e.g. investing in eye creams that can reduce our under eye dark circles, or that magical miracle cream that can reduce the pigmentation around our lips and nose. But, have you noticed the ingredients of that cream that you got for 5000 bucks recently?

What if you could get the same effects right from the stuffs lying on your kitchen shelf? Don't get baffled; yes there are those regular food stuffs that can help you in achieving that perfect look you'd been craving for since ages. And the best thing - these are 100% natural and a hell lot cheaper than those expensive creams and serums. Let’s have a look:

Tomato

  • Peel a tomato and chop it finely before spreading on face. It works as an effective cleanser and gentle astringent to tighten pores.
Cucumber:

  • Chop up a cucumber and add a few drops of lemon juice in the mixture. Apply on your face. This works as an effective cleanser and also cools your face.
  • In order to sooth your tired eyes cut two round pieces of cucumber and place them on the eyelids.
  • To cool down your hot skin in summers, apply a mixture of chopped cucumber, olive oil and plain yogurt on face.
Tea
Herbal tea

  • Steep a pair of teabags in boiling water, run them under a tap and place over eyes for 10 minutes before night out. This helps in relaxing the eyes after spending a long tiring day on computer.
  • Freeze cooled chamomile tea in an ice-cube tray. When set, remove cubes and run over your face - works as a great natural astringent
  • Take four bags of chamomile tea and leave them to steep for 5 minutes then hold your face over the bowl - works amazingly in relaxing facial muscles.
  • Create your own natural toner by soaking some gauze in cooled green tea and applying on skin the way you would a toner.
Olive oil:
Olive oil

  • Heat a cup of olive oil in the microwave for a few seconds. Massage onto dry areas of your skin. It works amazingly in nourishing and smoothening the skin.
  • Use it as a conditioner by leaving warmed olive oil on your hair for 15 minutes before shampoo.
  • It can work excellently in removing all traces of mascara by dipping an overused mascara wand into some olive oil and using it to apply on your lashes the way you would mascara. Wipe off with wet tissue.
Lemon:
lemon

  • For sparkling teeth, mix one teaspoon of fresh lemon juice with one teaspoon of soda bicarbonate (baking powder) and half teaspoon of salt. Use it once every week like toothpaste.
  • It can be used to lighten the skin and smoothen rough edges of elbows and knees. Cut a lemon into halves and rest your elbows in each half for 15 minutes. Or squeeze juice of lemon and apply on your knees.
Orange
Orange

  • Squeeze some orange juice and mix with a tablespoon of plain yogurt. Apply on face, avoiding eye areas. Rinse off after 10 minutes and splash face with cold water. It can work as an amazing face mask that tightens the skin and brings an overall fresh glow to the face.
I hope these easy home made food recipes for beauty help you in getting the desired results.

Neutrogena Moistureshine Gloss - Review I began to use Neutrogena brand long back, when I was in US. The first product I bought of this brand was a liquid foundation, which was my first foundation of all. And, as expected I chose the wrong shade and had to throw it away. The second thing I bought sometime back was this Neutrogena Moistureshine LipGloss , which apparently happens to be my first tinted lipgloss too, as before this I was used to only lipsticks or lip balms. It took me a while to get used to the concept of glosses. I bought the shade 04 Glimmer: Neutrogena Moistureshine Gloss Like usual glosses, it comes
