I am usually a sucker for eye creams especially those who claim to lighten the dark circles. This one came in the Hollybeth's Natural Luxury Travel gift set and the quantity that comes in this travel sized pack is more than enough to run for a couple of months. I've been using this eye cream since past couple of weeks and hence thought of reviewing it here today. Check out more details below:

My experience with this eye cream:
The eye cream comes in a thick off-white colored cream. The first time I applied it under my eyes; I could feel the texture of the cream. It wasn't ultra smooth to glide well, but had very fine granules which weren't evenly distributed. I massaged the cream well around my eyes the way its mentioned in the directions and the cream gave an oily finish. However, the massage with this cream soothed my eyes to a great extent and I could feel the relaxation and heat. It has a lovely sweet fragrance which I like a lot. I've been using this cream every alternate night before going to sleep.

And below are some of the likes and dislikes that I've experienced from this eye cream:
Likes:
1) I like the soothing fragrance of this cream that helps a lot in relaxing the senses.
2) The cream works well in soothing my eyes after I've spent a long tiring day in front of computer. The cream feels like a concentrated oil that starts working the moment I begin massaging it around my eyes. The experience is always very relaxing and rejuvenating.
3) Very less amount is needed to cover both the eyes so even the travel size version of this cream that comes in Hollybeth's travel gift set (worth $25) will run for long.
4) The ingredients in this product are all natural and organic hence definitely more skin friendly than chemically dominated products. Also, it is gluten free and cruelty free.
Dislikes:
1) The not-so-smooth texture of the cream. I don't know what the granules are, because the moment I start massaging the cream, everything becomes oil and gets well into the skin. However, the rough texture is something I don't like much.
2) The cream leaves an oily finish, so can only be used at night.
3) It comes in jar packaging so unhygienic and messy.
4) Availability: You might not be able to find it in every store around the world, but you can order it from Hollybeth's Natural luxury official website here .
Overall verdict:
I like the cream overall for its soothing fragrance and for the way it relaxes my eyes. However, I'd have liked it more if it'd come with more fine and buttery smooth texture instead of rough one. Since the skin around the eyes is more sensitive, even very fine granules can disturb the overall application process of the cream. I like my eye creams to be smoother.
