My experience with this shampoo:

I usually have dry and frizzy hair, which behave weirdly at times. Till date some shampoos have managed to give me quite unmanageable hair on the first day of wash, while magically transforming my hair into ultra soft and smooth the very next day. When I started using this particular shampoo from Dove's damage therapy range, I liked the creamy texture of the shampoo. It lathers well and cleans off the dirt and oil in one go. I didn't experience any increase or decrease in my hair fall so can't comment on that. However, what I liked from this shampoo and conditioner too (review will come next), was that I never had to suffer the first day of unmanageable hair with these. I'd get the "second day" hair on the first day of wash only which is more than enough to lift up my mood.

A quick list of likes and dislikes:

Likes:

1) Nice creamy texture.
2) Comes in a nice bottle with flip open cap that makes it easy to use.
3) Lathers well and cleans off hair and scalp of all dirt and oil in one go.
4) Never gave me any dryness or itchiness on scalp.
5) Gives me nice smooth hair on the first day of wash itself.
6) Quite affordable for the price and quantity

Dislikes:

1) I didn't see any difference in hair fall.
2) No difference in the texture of my hair. Split ends still rule.
3) It contains SLS

Overall verdict: It is a "nice to have shampoo" for "problem free" hair. If you are suffering from any hair problems, I would ask you to choose the one that specializes in treating that problem. This can work as a good everyday kind of shampoo for people who already have nice and manageable hair. It is strong enough to remove all the unwanted things from your head, as well as mild enough to take care of your hair well.
