Product Launch: Shah Rukh Khan Launches The Very Exclusive Tag Heuer Monaco V4 Rose Gold Limited Edition


Friday, 23rd December 2011, Mumbai – TAG Heuer Brand Ambassador Shah Rukh Khan launched the most exclusive timepiece – the Monaco V4 Rose Gold Rhutenium & Ceramic over a special screening of Don-2 to celebrate his relationship of nine years with the brand.

In an exclusive edition of just 60 pieces worldwide, the TAG Heuer MONACO V4 Next Generation Rose Gold Ruthenium and Ceramic is a worthy representative of the Swiss legend that created it.


In this new “Next Generation” version, the case is 41mm and made of polished massive rose gold with fine-brushed silicon nitride “ceramic” inserts. The newly angled planes of the bevelled crystal give the watch a more fluid and contemporary profile. Other rose gold components are the hand-applied faceted indexes on the dial, the minute and hour hands, the small second hand at 4 o’clock, the thermo-lacquered crown at 3 o’clock, and the strap’s folding buckle. The brand’s most stylish creation in rose gold to date, it is a fitting tribute to the their 150 years of pioneering innovation.

The worldwide leader within the luxury watch industry, has once again remained true to its Avant-Garde vision by being a part of the long- awaited sequel to the Bollywood action movie: ‘Don: the Chase Begins Again’.

Throughout the movie Shah Rukh Khan is prominently seen wearing the TAG Heuer Grand Carrera Calibre 17 RS Chronograph amongst other TAG Heuer watches. The key star cast of Don-2 has worn TAG Heuer watches throughout the film. Watch models were carefully chosen to complement the different characters. The Don is also seen using the TAG Heuer Mobile Phone – The Meridiist and specially selected eye wear from TAG Heuer. Steeped in the aura of motor racing, thrill, and speed, the TAG Heuer watches, phone and eye wear perfectly complement the actor’s bold and daring character in the film.

The evening saw a special screening of Don-2 being hosted by TAG Heuer where Shah Rukh Khan left the audience thrilled with his warm welcome.
