Review: Lashem Measurable Difference Lash Gel, EOTD

About Lashem Measurable Difference Lash Gel

Price: $69.99

Quantity: 3.5ml

My experience with this Lash Gel

I've been using Lashem's Measurable Difference Lash gel almost daily for around a month now and I feel that the time is ripe enough to review it now. This particular lash gel from Lashem comes in a classic glossy packaging that looks lovely and tempting. The gel is a clear liquid that can be applied on the base of lashes using its thin brush. Basically I used to apply it the way I'd apply any eyeliner on my upper lids. I have usually been happy with my lashes till date, but still wanted them to look longer and fuller (and why not, after all I've seen the transformation that I get from using fake lashes!).
The first few days of using this gel on my lashes, I'd get some slight tingling sensation on my lids at the roots of my lashes where I'd apply the gel. I usually applied it only once every night before going to sleep.
The changes brought by these lashes weren't noticeable to me initially after using it for one whole month, though sometimes I'd miss and forget applying it. However, I could notice the difference my lashes would show after I'd applied mascara (the same one!). I've tried to capture the difference in the pics below by clicking my bare lashes.

Some of the likes and dislikes that I've felt about this product:

Likes:

1) Comes in a lovely classy packaging and easy to use.
2) The product is paraben free, fragrance free and 97% natural.
3) It gives a slight tingling sensation on the roots of the lashes, which is ok for me and actually makes me believe that it is working on my lashes.
4) A very small amount is ok to cover the roots of the lashes of both eyes, hence one tube would run for a long time.
5) Didn't give any kind of skin irritation or any side effects on my lashes.
6) I've noticed some level of difference from 3-4 week usage, so I am definitely going to continue using it and post more piccys after around 2-3 months of regular usage.

Dislikes:

1) Some might find the tingling sensation a bit disturbing.
2) It takes a bit long time to see any noticeable difference, however since it has been working so far I have no complains.
3) Availability might be an issue, but you can buy it onlinefrom Lashem's website.

Overall verdict:

I really like this product and you must give it a try if you have sparse lashes and want to get some length and volume in them. I am finding it good so far and recommend it for sure.

Rating: 3.8/5

Below are some more pics and my lashes. I've tried to capture the difference in flash light.

I've tried to capture the difference. I hope you can notice a subtle difference in the outer upper lashes being a bit denser than before.

Beauty Diaries organized a sponsored Lashem giveaway for Lashem's Double Trouble Mascara and this particular Lash Gel sometime back. Winners will be declared on December 7th, 2011, so stay tuned!

Olay Natural White Lotion With Mulberry Leaf Extracts - Review

Olay Natural White Lotion With Mulberry Leaf Extracts  The best way to spend four hours of waiting period in Dubai transit is to do shopping. In all the shopping I did there, I bought this particular lotion as well. The main reasons behind buying this lotion were: 1) I wanted to try Olay as a brand as I’d heard a lot of good stories about it. 2) I wanted a light moisturizing face lotion that has SPF, UVA/UVB protection and could be worn easily below my foundation for day wear. Neutrogena Moistureshine Gloss - Review, Swatches

Neutrogena Moistureshine Gloss - Review I began to use Neutrogena brand long back, when I was in US. The first product I bought of this brand was a liquid foundation, which was my first foundation of all. And, as expected I chose the wrong shade and had to throw it away. The second thing I bought sometime back was this Neutrogena Moistureshine LipGloss , which apparently happens to be my first tinted lipgloss too, as before this I was used to only lipsticks or lip balms. It took me a while to get used to the concept of glosses. I bought the shade 04 Glimmer: Neutrogena Moistureshine Gloss Like usual glosses, it comes
