This water-based texture is so light and refreshing on your skin that you will feel like floating through the clouds, but it contains plethora of active ingredients. Sea-Buckthorn Berry Extract serves as a superb-antioxidant and anti-ageing ingredient that promotes cell tissue regeneration. Iris Florentina Root Extract smoothes out fine lines and wrinkles to create a perfect canvas for other products to be applied to the skin. Saccharide Isomerate provides intensive hydration, firming and smoothing; Bisabolol is used for its anti-irritant and anti-inflammatory capabilities. Small tricks:

• Apply our Aqua Primer after your usual cleansing routine - it can be used alone as a moisturiser, too. Holds foundation and other tinted complexion products onto the skin and helps prevent colour change.
• For a truly natural look, mix our PRELUDE IN THE CLOUDS with our MILK AQUARELLE and apply. The effect is that of a light, dewy tinted moisturiser.
• Apply to the eyelids and lips as a base to give even longer lasting wear. Mix with the Eye Shadows for an all-day, crease resistant finish and even more colour depth.

My experience with this primer:

I'd already reviewed the Metamorphoses mattifying primer from Rouge Bunny Rouge HERE and after getting impressive results from that I had high expectations from the Aqua primer too. I must say I wasn't disappointed even a bit, in fact I loved this one more than Metamorphoses mattifying primer. This aqua primer from Rouge Bunny Rouge has a serum like consistency which I really love as it is super easy to apply, it gets absorbed quickly into the skin and leaves a silky smooth skin with a fresh and glowy finish for my makeup. I’ve used it as eyeshadow primer as well and it kept my eyeshadows intact without creasing or fading for 5-6 hours after which I anyway wash them off.

Below is a quick list of likes and dislikes that I've felt about this primer:

Likes:

1) Lovely serum like consistency that is easy to apply and gets absorbed within seconds.

2) Leaves a soft fresh look on face and a smooth base for my foundation and makeup.

3) It keeps my face dewy and shine free for 5-6 hours which I really love.

4) Never give me any kind of irritation or breakouts.

5) When used as eyeshadow primer, it helped enhancing their pigmentation and staying power considerably.
