Review: Faces Silk Glam on Cream Blush #12 - Pinked Mauve, Swatches, FOTD

A couple of days back I shared with you some of the products from Faces Canada's new Silk Range. This blush is a part of it. I've been using this blush since past one week now and since it topped the chart by getting maximum votes for the product to be reviewed first, here it goes.
This new year started with me getting "the pink fever"and this blush was the most appropriate thing to take care of it.Check out more details below.

Shade being reviewed: #12 - Pinked Mauve

Price: INR 399/-

Quantity: 3.5 grams

My Experience:

This blush comes in a cute packaging, with a flip open cover that has a small cute mirror too inside. I was going all "awww" when I opened the blush the very first time. It was the cutest little thing I'd seen after the mini Isadora lipstick I reviewed HERE. The blush pan has a plastic cover to keep it safe and microbe free and also to keep the mirror clean from the blush stains. The consistency of this cream blush is quite comfortable. It isn't runny, nor is it anywhere stiff - just perfectly built to easily take out and apply on the cheeks. I usually use a Q-tip to take the product out, dab lightly on the apples of my cheeks and then blend using my fingers.  It just blends seamlessly into my skin giving it a nice cool pink glow.

This particular shade of blush is a bit cool toned pink shade. However, it looked pretty on my warm skin tone and makes it look like I'd just come back from a snow fight. A lovely pink glow is all you get, and the best part is that it looks extremely natural. There is no sheen or shine or shimmer. Just a gorgeous matte pink to brighten up your face.

I've experienced a staying power of 4-5 hours from this blush, when I've applied it just on my foundation. With a face primer it does stay for 6+ hours, after which I anyway wash it off.

Now, check out some quick like and dislike points below:

Likes:

1) Comes in a lovely, sturdy and cute packaging, with a small mirror inside

2) It is a cream blush that gives a natural matte finish to the cheeks - perfect for everyday look. It has a very nice and easy-to-use consistency which is neither too runny, nor too stiff, just apt enough to apply and blend well into the skin.

3) I love the shade of the blush which is a cool toned pink, and gives a "right from the snow" effect to the cheeks, thereby brightening up the face.

4) I like the staying power of this blush that stays 4-5 hours on my cheeks, after which it gently fades off, without creating any sort of patches or weird things on my face.

5) Never broke me out.

6) Quite affordable for the price and quantity.

Dislikes:

ummm..frankly none as of now. I completely love this blush! :)

Rating: 4.5/5 (A)

Olay Natural White Lotion With Mulberry Leaf Extracts - Review

Olay Natural White Lotion With Mulberry Leaf Extracts  The best way to spend four hours of waiting period in Dubai transit is to do shopping. In all the shopping I did there, I bought this particular lotion as well. The main reasons behind buying this lotion were: 1) I wanted to try Olay as a brand as I’d heard a lot of good stories about it. 2) I wanted a light moisturizing face lotion that has SPF, UVA/UVB protection and could be worn easily below my foundation for day wear. Neutrogena Moistureshine Gloss - Review, Swatches

Neutrogena Moistureshine Gloss - Review I began to use Neutrogena brand long back, when I was in US. The first product I bought of this brand was a liquid foundation, which was my first foundation of all. And, as expected I chose the wrong shade and had to throw it away. The second thing I bought sometime back was this Neutrogena Moistureshine LipGloss , which apparently happens to be my first tinted lipgloss too, as before this I was used to only lipsticks or lip balms. It took me a while to get used to the concept of glosses. I bought the shade 04 Glimmer: Neutrogena Moistureshine Gloss Like usual glosses, it comes
