Review: Vaseline Total Moisture Body Lotion With Pure Soya and Stratys

I have a weird skin type, which I sometimes feel is quite confused about its category. My facial skin is a bit oily-combination, whereas the skin on my rest of the body is super duper dry that gets even drier, rougher and scalier in winters. Though I love to experiment with body lotions and body butters of different brands, I always consider keeping my HG as a backup if any of my experiments fail.

I feel that keeping a backup is really is essential as far as body lotions are concerned, if I don't want to embarrass myself itching here and there like a monkey while working at office. I've been using this lotion since years and I am now in a position to pick up any of Vaseline's body lotions with my eyes closed, while trusting it to work for my skin type perfectly. This particular lotion from Vaseline comes in white color liquid of medium consistency. It gets absorbed easily into the skin without feeling greasy or sticky at all. It hydrates my skin well and leaves a nice soft fragrance on it. Though the fragrance doesn't stay for long, it is soothing enough to make the application process fun and relaxing. The bottle is ultra-easy to use with flip open cap and a handy design. Overall, I really love Vaseline body lotions and would continue to buy this again and again.

Dislikes: Contains parabens and I think 24 hour claim is a bit of blasphemy. However, it keeps my skin hydrated for 8-9 hours for sure.

Overall verdict: As might be evident from my review above, this is my HG body lotion that can never go wrong with me - be it summers or winters. Though I feel the need to applying this lotion after 4-5 hours in winters to take care of my super dry skin; my summer skin works absolutely fine whole day, with just one time application of this lotion in the morning. This has got a permanent place on my shelf and I highly recommend it.
