Tutorial - Wearable Teal Yellow Summer Eye Makeup - Photo Tutorial

It has been a really long time since I last posted any sort of makeup tutorial here. Since summers are here, I tried to experiment a bit with colors. I wore this look yesterday for an evening party and got lots of compliments for the same, so thought of sharing the look here with you guys. Check it out and the tutorial below! :)

Wearable Teal Yellow Summer Eye Makeup 

Products used:

For face:
Isadora foundation
P2 feel good compact powder
Queen Cosmetics Natural blush

For eyes:
NYX for your eyes only 10 eyeshadow palette  - For Mysterious brown eyes
Essence Eyeshadow primer
Illamasqua mono eyeshadow - Burst
Illamasqua mono eyeshadow - Sex
Ambika pillai black liquid eyeliner
Yanquina black volumizing mascara

For lips:
Essence Stay with me long lasting lipgloss - 02 My favorite milkshake

Step 1: Apply eyeshadow primer all over your lids. Don't forget to apply some primer underneath your lashline too, as we'd be using eyeshadows there too for this look.

Step 2: Apply a wash of an eyeshadow similar to your skin tone to create perfect base for your eyeshadow application. You can also use your compact powder for this step.

Step 3: Next take a shimmery light yellow eyeshadow on a flat stiff brush and pat it all over your lid. I am using the shimmery light yellow shade from NYX 10 eyeshadow palette for brown eyes.

Step 4: Take your favorite matte teal eyeshadow on a flat brush and create an outer V to give a shape to your eyes. Bring the eyeshadow into the crease. I am using Illamasqua eyeshadow in shade Burst here.
Once you have got the desired shape and filling, take a clean fluffy brush and blend the harsh edges to get a soft and smooth look.

Step 5: Next take a shimmery taupy brown eyeshadow, just a litle bit of it and blend it into the crease. This is gonna work as a blending color for the teal to mix in. You can load some of the teal after this step on the outer V in case you feel you've lost some color in all this mixing and blending.

Step 6: Take a small eyeshadow brush dipped in the teal eyeshadow and bring it down outer part of the lower lashline. Next take the shimmery yellow eyeshadow in another small brush and bring it down the inner part of your lower lashline.

Step 7: This step is optional, but I like to give more gradient like effect to my eye makeup, hence I took a matte deep brown eyeshadow lightly on a fluffy brush and just blended that on the outer edge of my V, just to darken the color there a bit more.

Step 8: Next take a matte highlighter shade of your choice on a small brush and apply it near the tear ducts and below the highest points of your eyebrows. Here I have used Illamasqua's eyeshadow - Sex.

Step 9: Next apply your favorite black eyeliner, and try to bring it into a wing for more dramatic effect. Curl your lashes and apply mascara. You can also apply kohl in your waterline, if you like, but I've skipped that here.

Eyes are Done! :)

For rest of the face, I simply used my Isadora foundation and doubled it up to use as concealer. Since the eyes have so much color, I went on subtle for cheeks and lips. I used Queens blush in "Natural" on cheeks and for lips I used Essence Stay with me longlasting lipgloss - "Shade 02 : My favourite Milkshake". Check out pics below:
