I am usually not much of a massage person. I rarely take
facial, though I love to apply face masks occasionally. Sometimes when I feel
my skin to be quite dull and dehydrated, I do love to give them a little
massage treatment using a mix of lavender oil and rose water. This particular
massage gel from Just Herbs was my first ever facial massage gel. Check out my
experience with it below:
An intensive skin rejuvenating facial massage gel designed to nourish, hydrate and liven up dull and lifeless skin
Key Ingredients: Aloevera, Cucumber, Soy Lecithin.
Benefits: An intensive skin rejuvenating facial massage gel designed to nourish, hydrate and liven up dull and lifeless skin. Alovera inhibits the over production of enzymes responsible for the breakdown of the collagen-elastin matrix of the skin and provides protection against sun’s UV rays, clears away blemishes, while cucumbers restore the natural moisturising factor (NMF) by delivering vitamins and moisture to the deepest layers of sun-exposed skin . Aloevera and soy lecithin provide nourishment, stimulating the skin’s metabolic functions and combats free radicals to prevent the effects of oxidative skin damage.
Directions for use: Regular massage effectively removes sun tan from the face, neck and the back. For best results, follow by the application of Just Herbs Petalsoft Antitan Rose Face Pack or Fennel and Manjishtha Rejuvenating Beauty Pack.

My experience with
this massage gel
The massage gel comes in a jar with screw open lid. The
consistency of the gel is a bit thick yet smooth enough to apply and glide well
on my skin. The fragrance of this massage gel is a bit herbal, soft and sweet
which I quite like. It somehow reminds me of certain aromatherapy candles I
used long time back. I usually apply this massage gel on my face once every
week, especially when I feel my skin to be stressed, dull and dehydrated. I
don't know if it’s just the act of massaging, or effectiveness of this gel, or
both, but my skin does feel quite relaxed every time I use this massage gel. It
doesn't stay long on my skin or creates any sort of greasy or oily film, but
gets absorbed into the skin within 5-10 minutes of massage. I haven't
experienced any ground breaking results from it so far, just that it relaxes
and soothes my skin well, even without takin towel steam after the massage (as
per its instructions).
I've not felt any particular con from it, except for the
fact that it comes in jar packaging which I am not very comfortable using. I've not experienced any change in my skin's brightness, tone or texture from
using this gel except for the soothing effects. Also, I wish they'd have mentioned complete list of ingredients on the jar instead of mentioning just key ingredients.
Overall, if you
are looking for a normal facial massage gel, this can work well. It has all
herbal, ayurvedic and natural ingredients and does relax my facial muscles and
skin every time I use it.
