Liz Earle Sheer Skin Tint - SPF 15: Beige 02 - Review

Being a person with oily/combination skin, I usually aim on getting the products that give me matte finish, especially in the current hot and humid climate. However, I always welcome a fresh glow and dewy look that makes me look brightened up and natural, as long as it sustains the heat and humidity. This particular product from Liz Earle has definitely helped me achieve that quite nicely. So, on that note, let us have a look at the product below:

My experience with this product:

The product comes in a nice classy deep blue colored tube packaging with a screw open cap. The texture of this skin tint is a bit thick but creamy enough to go on smoothly and blend seamlessly into my skin. This particular shade "Beige 02"of the skin tint, looks a bit lighter on my skin tone (MAC NC 35/37) while applying, but blends perfectly into my skin without leaving any whitish cast. All I get is a nice healthy glow and even skin tone with slightly dewy finish. As far as coverage matters, I feel it gives light to medium coverage, so you definitely need your concealer to cover your dark circles and any blemishes. It has SPF 15, which I find apt for current overcast weather here. It has never given any kind of irritation or breakout to my skin. I love the way it naturally brightens up my face, without making me look cakey, oily or shiny in any way and it stays put without getting effected by heat and humidity for 4-5 hours. However, I always ensure to put compact over it.

Availability of this product can be a concern as it is not available everywhere, but you can order it from Liz Earle's official website, and other online stores that stock Liz Earle's products. Also, it contains parabens :(. Apart from that, I somehow don't like the smell of it. It isn't bad, just a bit weird...reminds me of rust, somehow. Anyways, to each its own! :)

Overall: It is a great product for normal-dry-oily/combination skin people. I feel it will look less dewy and more natural on people with dry and normal skin. For my oily/combination skin, it does give a dewy finish as soon as I apply it but then the effect fades to a natural healthy glow within 5 minutes of application. It feels very light on skin and I've been using it almost daily these days before stepping out. Would definitely love to purchase it again.

Rating: 4/5 (B+)

Syoss Professional Performance Repair Therapy Shampoo - Review

Syoss Professional Performance Repair Therapy Shampoo During my visits to Germany, I spend a lot of time watching TV commercials, because of the only reason that I can somehow understand bits and pieces of them. Olay Natural White Lotion With Mulberry Leaf Extracts - Review

Olay Natural White Lotion With Mulberry Leaf Extracts  The best way to spend four hours of waiting period in Dubai transit is to do shopping. In all the shopping I did there, I bought this particular lotion as well. The main reasons behind buying this lotion were: 1) I wanted to try Olay as a brand as I’d heard a lot of good stories about it. 2) I wanted a light moisturizing face lotion that has SPF, UVA/UVB protection and could be worn easily below my foundation for day wear. Neutrogena Moistureshine Gloss - Review, Swatches

Neutrogena Moistureshine Gloss - Review I began to use Neutrogena brand long back, when I was in US. The first product I bought of this brand was a liquid foundation, which was my first foundation of all. And, as expected I chose the wrong shade and had to throw it away. The second thing I bought sometime back was this Neutrogena Moistureshine LipGloss , which apparently happens to be my first tinted lipgloss too, as before this I was used to only lipsticks or lip balms. It took me a while to get used to the concept of glosses. I bought the shade 04 Glimmer: Neutrogena Moistureshine Gloss Like usual glosses, it comes
