Garnier Pure Active Pore Unclogging wash - Review

Garnier face washes were amongst the first face washes I ever started using many years back and I always liked them for their lovely fragrance and refreshing feeling. Over the years I switched over to many new face washes that came in the line from various different brands and I had my share of some good-bad experiences accordingly. However, when I got a chance to try this particular face wash from Garnier, I had good expectations from it because of my earlier experience with their facewashes. So, did it work for me? Let us check it out below:

My experience with this face wash

The face wash comes in a nice sturdy tube with screw open lid. It has a transparent gel like consistency which is slightly on the runnier side. I have to be careful every time I take the product out of the tube, so that I don't spill out much. The face wash spreads well and creates decent soft lather to cleanse my face well. I absolutely adore its fragrance which is slightly citrusy and sweet, but very refreshing. This has become my current favorite facewash for morning these days. It gently cleanses the oil and dirt off my face, while keeping it hydrated. I can't comment much on its action on pore purifying, blackheads and whiteheads, as off late my skin doesn't have any much of these to notice any visible difference. However, it has salicylic acid which is much claimed by beauty and skin care gurus as a magic potion that can help exfoliate your skin and reveal the healthy, new skin underneath. Also, I do like the way my skin feels so refreshed and soft every time I wash my face using this.

As far as dislikes are concerned, I wish it could have come up with a flip open cap, instead of screw open lid. Products with flip open caps are a hell lot easier to use, in my opinion. Also, the face wash has slightly runny consistency, so you need to be careful to not take out lots of stuff at a time and cause wastage. If you don't like mild face washes, this may not be for you. Also, it contains SLS.

Overall

I usually love mild face washes, as I rely much on my make up removers to cleanse my face of any makeup.
It is a decent facewash for everyday use. It works well in cleansing my oily-combination skin and its fragrance is really refreshing, especially when I wash my face with this in the mornings and haven't had much sleep at the night before. Would love to buy it again.

Rating: 4/5(B+)

Olay Natural White Lotion With Mulberry Leaf Extracts  The best way to spend four hours of waiting period in Dubai transit is to do shopping. In all the shopping I did there, I bought this particular lotion as well. Neutrogena Moistureshine Gloss - Review, Swatches

Neutrogena Moistureshine Gloss - Review I began to use Neutrogena brand long back, when I was in US. The first product I bought of this brand was a liquid foundation, which was my first foundation of all. And, as expected I chose the wrong shade and had to throw it away. The second thing I bought sometime back was this Neutrogena Moistureshine LipGloss , which apparently happens to be my first tinted lipgloss too, as before this I was used to only lipsticks or lip balms. It took me a while to get used to the concept of glosses. I bought the shade 04 Glimmer: Neutrogena Moistureshine Gloss Like usual glosses, it comes
