Hello friends,
Today I'd like to introduce an exciting new website - "Handlooms Of India" representing the weaves that color India and has been started as an ode to the richness India has to offer in terms of it's textiles and handicrafts... The website is not just any online portal selling traditional sarees and handlooms but is one of a kind one-stop-destination for everything Indian...
From bandhej to kalamkari, from ikat to brocade, from phulkari to kaantha, from Paithani to Chanderi, all will be available on HOI.
The website also proudly exhibits the rarer known weaves and crafts like Himru of Aurangabad, Kasavu of Kerela, Taant of Bengal, Muga silk of Assam and many such artistic weaves that shall also be showcased on HOI...
As HOI is committed to provide only authentic and genuine pieces of the Indian tradition to its patrons, the team has been currently traveling across the country looking for precious silks and unique weaves for its clientele and is hence yet to open the online store to the public. Nevertheless, they are very much on the scene through their blog and other social networking sites.
