Sephora, the global beauty chain owned by LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton which operates more than 1,600 locations worldwide, opened its first location in India at the Select CityWalk on 22nd December. Sephora is a beauty authority that truly breaks the mold when it comes to beauty retailing. Its bold concept encourages clients to experience, discover and play. Known for offering unique brands from around the world, highlighting trends and giving expert beauty tips, Sephora is an exciting shopping experience. It offers total freedom to learn, dream and experiment without feeling obliged to make a purchase.
Sephora has partnered with luxury retail group, Genesis as part of its foray in India. The first store is situated on the ground floor of celebrated mall development, Select Citywalk, located in the aspirational neighborhood of Saket in South Delhi and features exclusive brands such as Make Up For Ever, Benefit, Stila, Bliss, StriVectin, Sampar, Boscia, Peter Thomas Roth, Zihr, The Face Shop, Soap and Glory, Alterna Hair Care, Oscar Blandi, Ouidad and more. Sephora completes its assortment with its own brand of makeup, skincare and accessories in addition to well-known prestige brands including Dior, Estee Lauder, Clinique, Clarins, Shiseido, Tom Ford Fragrances and Guerlain.
Sitting along the centre atrium space, at over 300sqm, Sephora represents the mall’s newest and the most-happening destination. Sephora’s famous black and white design expresses its boldness, whilst touches of red connote its sense of luxury. Sephora is organized into “worlds” based on product categories: skin care, make-up, fragrances, body care and accessories. Within those worlds, brands use Sephora’s signature merchandising design which ensures products are easy to test and purchase. Additionally, Sephora’s Hot Now showcases the newest and most innovative beauty products from around the world so clients are always in-the-know of the latest trends. Also, Sephora’s Beauty Studios offer clients complementary one-on-one service with Beauty Advisors for makeup application or skincare discovery. Sephora at Select Citywalk is the first in the world to have its own shop-in-shop with India’s most renowned Ayurveda brand, Forest Essentials.
