Trends tend to evolve over time which means that different themes and influences can be spotted on the catwalks and on the high street over a given period of time. The nature of accessories can be split into two categories: costume jewellery which is largely low-cost and often 'disposable;' There is also fine jewellery which is premium therefore more expensive and usually something that is personal and cherished for life.
